Questions & Answers

How long will it last?

As long as the golf balls are kept in a cool, dry place. The shelf life of these golf balls is up to five years.

What does it mean when it says "5 golf balls (dozen)"? Is this purchase for a dozen balls?

Thank you for getting in touch! This is the fifth generation of the Z star - It's for this reason that the number 5 is used. A dozen balls are included in this package. br>br>Have a great time golfing!

What are the main differences between the 2016 and 2017 models?

The main difference, in my opinion, is a slight reduction in compression and continued progress in the outer layer. If you have an 80-mph swing speed with a driver, If you're over 90, you might want to give the new Q- TOUR OF THE STARS That's also a three-piece ball with a pro urethane cover (as opposed to the ionmer plastic found on cheaper balls) and a pro urethane cover. I use both, but my preference is for the new Q Star Tour. However, the new Z feels softer than the previous model and performs admirably. I switch them around. If you do decide to try the Q Star, make sure to get the Tour 2017 version. The new cover has a performance-oriented design. Both are excellent PRO V substitutes, and in my opinion, are superior.

Is it 2016 or 2017 that these balls are from?

Thank you for getting in touch. These balls were created in 2017. br>br>Have a great time golfing!

Selected User Reviews For Srixon Z Star 5 Golf Balls (One Dozen)

Excellent ball with good green grabbing ability, long range, and a soft feel
5/5

I bought these for my husband, and this is what he had to say about them: br>br>These balls were put to the test in a 30-minute time period. Other premium balls (titlest pro v1, bridgestone b330s, and even Srixon Z star and Z star VX previous gen) were also available in the 100-yard area. Because I have access to a driving range with a good chipping area, I am a 16 handicap working on my short game. The following is a summary of my findings: br>br>The ability to grab the screen is fantastic. I can chip low and medium flight, and they'll spin nicely in the 30-foot range. The results are very similar to the pro v1 at 100 yards. br>They have a soft feel to them, similar to the pro v1, which I like a lot. br>The color is a bright white, which I prefer to the pro v1, which tends to go off white over time. br>Putting them on is similar to putting on the pro v1. They're pre-installed with an Alignment line ( Z Star - > I use it to line up the break at the green, as most balls do now. I checked their balance by letting them float in salted water, and all three were perfectly balanced, indicating that I won't have to worry about erratic putting behavior. br>I also like the dimple pattern; for some reason, the ball appears to be "larger" than the title, which I believe is due to the bright white color and dimple pattern. br>One last thing I like about them is that, because they aren't as popular where I play as the others, it's easier to just say "I'm playing srixon" rather than "I'm playing titleist 33," and even get away with not marking the ball at all. br>br>In general, the new Z Star feels and behaves very similarly to the previous generation Z Star, which I also enjoy. These are high-quality balls that are less expensive than others in their category. It comes highly recommended.

Balls that are good
5/5

can spin quite a bit These have a nice texture to them, and I like the way they look. They don't feel like rocks, and on wedge shots, they hold their spin well. There haven't been any issues with the product's durability. Aside from that, Why are you taking the time to read this? The vast majority of you are unable to spin the ball in the first place - I know - I've witnessed you at work. Is this ball going to be beneficial? It will once you've learned how to spin the ball, but that will take lessons or hours of practice. If you were serious about learning how to swing a golf club, you'd buy $55/doz golf balls instead of these, despite the fact that I believe these balls are just as good for most single-digit handicaps.

The ostensibly valuable ball fails to meet expectations
3/5

After reading several reviews that compared these Srixon Z Star balls to the much more expensive Pro V1 balls, I decided to give them a try. I was extremely disappointed after trying these in practice and for two full 18-hole rounds. I do not believe they compare to the Pro V1 balls in terms of quality feel and performance. They're a big, heavy ball with no feel to it, as far as I can tell. When trying to chip or putt, I found them to be like dead weight, and their apparent sluggishness was noticeable on tee and approach shots as well. Although they appear to be long-lasting, in my experience, they perform poorly. It was a simple and welcome decision for me to return to Pro V1.

It was a good ball
5/5

When compared to Supersoft and Tour Soft, the Supersoft is the softest of the three. So far, I'm enjoying them; they're a little more difficult than I'm used to, but I'm experimenting with different balls this year. hdc 9 hdc 9 hdc 9 hdc 9 hdc 9 3 Currently using Callaway Supersoft, but experimenting with Titleist Tour Soft and Srixon Z-Force. Star. There is a distinct difference between the three of us; I'm a more intuitive player, particularly when it comes to putting. br>I haven't noticed any significant differences in distance or feel off the driver, but the irons and putter feel and sound different, with no significant differences in distance or effect off the face. All of the balls are excellent! br>I'm still leaning toward Callaway due to the putter's extremely soft feel. br>The compression of all three balls is low. When it gets hotter, I'll play and compare all three to see if there's a difference. br>I'll stick with Callaway if I don't notice a significant difference when it gets hot. The price is unbeatable for the quality of the results.

This is a great ball
4/5

Because there are so many golf balls to choose from, it's best to compare the most expensive vs. the least expensive. Those who have received the highest ratings. Both of these categories are covered by this ball. It provides distance, as do most balls, and it is enjoyable to use. Unless you're a pro or playing for money with your friends, there's no need to spend $48 per dozen. There are a variety of balls ranging in price from $25 to $100. This ball falls under the $35 price range. It's unquestionably worth a shot.

It's similar to slamming your head against a firm pillow
4/5

Full disclosure: I haven't played this ball on the course yet; my assessment is based on putting and short game practice. br>br>Anyone who claims this ball is soft is lying. Consider the softest ball you can imagine, then soften it even more. Consider slamming into one of those fancy round butter servings that holds its shape. It feels and sounds incredible when it's pure. Hits that are slightly off-center feel fine, but the feedback is muted due to the softness. I prefer a little more feedback than this ball provides, which is why I gave it only four stars. But don't be fooled by that; this is a fantastic ball.

It has a short lifespan
4/5

It's a good high compression ball, but I've found that with Srixon balls, the money saved on durability is lost. After a typical round, I usually have two balls that are no longer playable due to basic wedge and iron play. That skin, on the other hand, is a natural on the golf course. It's all a matter of balancing the benefits and drawbacks.

Golf balls that are exceptional
5/5

I've been using Srixon's lower-cost balls for years and decided to give the Z-balls a try. Star. They're perfect for my short game, chipping, and putting because they're so versatile around the green. Also, the driver's distances are excellent. These balls are something I would buy again. It costs a little more than the other Srixon balls, but it's well worth it in my opinion.
