I just finished a test run with these balls in the driveway. I was taken aback by the weight of the package when it arrived. I was expecting super light, flimsy balls, but these are a little more substantial. After about 100 swings, I discovered that I had dented seven of them. The dents were caused by my driver and 2 iron, so I switched back to my 7 iron and PW and had no more problems; those that were dented popped back on their own after a brief period of warming up in the house. br> Flight appears to be fairly accurate, with fade and draw showing up but not overly so. Overall, I would recommend these to those of us who need the extra work to get the swing grooved or shake off the winter rust. Limited flight is convenient for yard/driveway use without having to chase them into the neighbors yard.
Ball splitting is a common problem for me when I hit full shots with my driver and irons. These are made of hard plastic and are my personal favorite among the brands I've tried. Their flight is precise, and they are remarkably durable. I would highly recommend these, and I believe they are a great value for the money.
He's also our son's baseball coach, and he uses these for net batting practice. These balls are pitched to the boys by him. They are efficient and effective at what they do.
I was pleasantly surprised by the accuracy of these balls. The sound of the spinning ball bouncing off the club face is one of my favorites. These balls appear to be much tougher and more resistant to denting than others I've purchased from local stores and online, and they don't have the seam that other balls I've used have, which causes the ball to break in half over time. True, these balls can be dented by an edge mishit or, more likely, by higher-velocity fairway woods and drivers. They don't seem to dent at all with multiple reasonably flush hits from a wedge to a seven iron. They fly high and true to the spin you put on them with your swing, and they can show a draw, fade, or straight shot. For the money, this pack comes with a lot of balls. To control weight and, ultimately, distance, all wiffle golf balls must be very thin. With continued use, the thin wall will begin to break down. Even real golf balls will show scars after a number of bad hits. These are some of the better balls I've come across, and I'm considering purchasing another bag in the near future in case they run out.
Great value for money, and a fantastic training aid that is both durable and well-made. Batting aids are what we use these for. My child spends the entire day smashing them.
It will fly properly in terms of hook/slice, and it appears to be very durable, as it does not break after only a few hits. I just wish they went a little further than other plastic balls to give me more feedback on whether I'm getting draw on the ball or not, but that's probably because they're a little sturdier so they don't fall apart. Good if you just want to practice your swing without having to drive to the range and ball a bucket of balls.
Since we've been using these, they've gotten better at hitting. So far, only one ball has been indented by the bat. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.
They're about an inch wide and an inch tall, and they're small enough to be used for little league hitting practice.
