For men with relatively broad palms and relatively short fingers, a Cadet size golf glove is designed. The palm of my hand is so narrow that a regular size XL glove is too tight on my fingers, and I can't wear gloves with fingers that reach 1/2 inch beyond An XL size Cadet glove offers me extra room in the palm area, and my fingers do not hang off the end of the glove. Honestly, I won't be buying another glove like this again, as the fit is very strange.
