Usually I buy a new glove every 6 rounds due to the fact that my hands are soaked by hole 4 when it's hot in Texas. Compared to an average golfer, this is likely on the high side. The glove I was using previously was fantastic out of box, but after just one round, due to sweating within the glove, the grip and tackiness started to suffer in the palm area. Finger Ten is designed to prevent excess moisture from building up inside the glove. When I was younger, I wore traditional leatherette gloves and I replaced them every year or two. The leatherette gloves would soak up your sweat and become hard, stiff, and crusty as a result. I found the whole thing pretty disgusting. When it gets dry, the leatherette material rips very easily and needs to be replaced. It is made of a cloth type material that does not rip and it can be machine washed. A machine wash won't change its shape or shrink it. The construction is of the highest quality. I have smaller hands, so these gloves felt tighter than some of my other "large" gloves did, but they will likely My preference for leather(or imitation leather) is changing now that I realize I don't like clothy material in my fingers and palms. Although this material does breathe a little better or wick away moisture a little better, in my opinion I prefer other gloves with a more grippy leather palm and fingers. When I don't want to ruin a favorite glove in really bad weather, these will be my go-to gloves.
