Questions & Answers

Are these suitable for my height of 6'4 or do I need to be fitted?

I'm 6'4 as well, and I have no trouble playing stock length. The wedges, on the other hand, were re-gripped to accommodate my larger hands. There have been no problems to date.

Is this a model that will be available in the year 2020?

The X2 is the "most recent" model on the market. New clubs have been put on hold due to a covert virus.

Is the graphite shaft in Regular Flex available for the 56* and 60*?

Only a wedge flex version is available.

Most golfers will find this to be a good option
5/5

I'm a 13 handicap who uses cavity back irons, and my main issue is 100 in, along with the occasional chunked or skulled wedge, so I decided to give the CBX2 a try. I used to use a Cleveland Rotex 2 when I was younger. a blade with the number 0 588 This wedge has a similar feel at address and travels the same distance on full swing as my previous 56 degree wedge, but there are more "good misses" with this one. I could have chunked or skulled the iron on many of the shots from 25 yards in, but with this wedge, the ball got up in the air and made it to the green. It's not a perfect shot by any means, but it's a lot more forgiving, which should lead to better scoring (hopefully, if I can putt). Overall, it performs as expected, and anyone with a handicap of more than eight should consider using a "game improvement" wedge such as this one. 5 stars!.

Vokey Design is a thing of the past
5/5

CBX2 is now available! I've been playing golf for more than 30 years, and these wedges are by far the most forgiving I've ever used. I still use all custom equipment and bladed irons, but I've switched to the CBX2 for wedges and have no plans to go back to my Vokey Design wedges anytime soon.

Wedges with a lot of leeway
5/5

I began by purchasing one of these and have since acquired all of them. I'm a weekend warrior who has learned to trust my wedge game. The balance is excellent, and the ball flight is consistent. Cleveland's irons get a big thumbs up from me!.

It's not difficult to find the sweet spot
5/5

A GW and a PW were included in my Callaway Rogue X iron set. The PW was 41, while the GW was 51. Because there was too much space between them, I purchased the CBX2 46 degree, which I adore. I loved it so much that I went out and purchased a 52 degree to replace my current GW. Cleveland has always been a leader in wedges, but the CBX2 is a home run for them. They're also priced in line with what you'd expect to pay for a Mack Daddy. Even better, perhaps.

Hit is a breeze
5/5

I've always struggled with my short game, and this wedge has been a huge help. Because of the excellent bounce and balance, it's easy to play in rough or tight lines. I'm a 16 handicap, and this is the most forgiving wedge I've ever used.

It has a nice feel to it, as well as distance and forgiveness
5/5

BOUGHT: I'm a low single digit handicapper with a 52 degree, 11 degree bounce, steel shaftbr>br>I've been playing golf for 40 years and am a low single digit handicapper. I use steel-shafted Mizuno forged irons. There aren't any blades, and there isn't any game improvement. br>br>I'm not a big fan of blade-type weapons. For full wedge shots or pitching long distances, use type wedges from the fairway. even the ones that have been forged. On full shots, I prefer the feel of a heavier, beefier wedge. So, my go-to pitching wedge is a cavity back, which I like; my issue is with gap, sand, and lob wedges, which no one seems to make in a forgiving club these days - For years, all I've seen are blade types that I don't care for, so when I saw this and the advertising, I decided to give it a shot. This wedge is fantastic. br>br> On full shots, it's almost as soft as a forged blade, and it's as forgiving as a cavity back should be - I've never found a blade type wedge easier to find the sweet spot than this one. My strikes are always closer to the center of the clubface. Those of you who are concerned about the size of your head need not be concerned: It's about the same size as a Callaway Mack Daddy at address. The sole and back are thicker, which is the only difference. which you are not aware of or aware of. br>br>According to what I've read, the thicker sole is hollow, with some type of vibration dampening material inserted inside, giving it more fairway forgiveness, a softer feel at impact, and better perimeter weighting. Whatever they say about me is correct: It has a forged club-like feel to it. br>br>I haven't tried it from the sand yet, and I'm not sure I'll use it much around the greens because I prefer my Mizuno 921 hot metal 58 degree for greenside chipping and sand shots. And, while I'm not sure I'd like it in the higher lofts for my purposes, it should be extremely beneficial to higher handicappers who have trouble with sand and lob wedges. This 52-degree wedge will most likely replace two of my wedges (a 50-degree and a 54-degree), allowing me to add a hybrid to my bag.

The club is well-balanced
5/5

The grooves on this album are outstanding. When you need more distance, you can easily put spin on the ball to make it stop or roll. It's easy to swing the head because it's well balanced.

Both for approach and chip shots, this is an excellent wedge
5/5

Due to a 10 degree loft difference between my wedges, I discovered that I had a fairly large gap in distance between them and decided to purchase this as a gap wedge. It's been hitting the yardage I expected it to, and even mishits have kept me within 5-yards. I'm about ten yards away from my target. When I got closer to the green, I had reservations about using a cavity back wedge for chip or pitch shots, but it glides through with ease, and I find that I make clean contact consistently, which produces the spin I require. Cleveland wedges are highly recommended in general, and the CBX 2s are no exception.
