The newer Callaway wedges are available in a variety of grinds and bounces. So, if you want more bounce for soft sand or soft fairways, S- is the way to go. There's a 12 bounce and a grind. If you usually play on firmer fairways and compacted sand, or if you sweep the ball with little to no divot, the C-type is probably for you. There's about an 8 bounce and a grind.
The 8-degree bounce is not available.
We believe that this club is too short because it is standard length.

Greens should be held tightly. I chose regular flex graphite shafts for the 46, 50, and 54 degree wedges. They do a great job of holding the greens, which is exactly what I needed. They're very forgiving, and they're about the same length as my old wedges. The purchase was a great success. Also purchased were Callaway Mavrik Max irons.
I had misplaced my old attack wedge and needed to replace it. This one sounded interesting, so I decided to give it a shot. The "feel" was satisfactory, but not identical to that of my previous computer. I figured I'd give it a month to see if increased familiarity would result in improved contact and feeling. It never did, unfortunately. Fortunately, my old club turned up in the pro shop eventually. Is there anyone looking for a good deal on a slightly used wedge?.
I'm a 46-year-old woman with a 56-year-old man's body I'm a 12-handicap golfer, and these are my two most reliable clubs. I had an 18 handicap prior to joining these clubs. My short game has benefited greatly from them. I bought the 46 to replace my pitching wedge, which was missing from the used set of irons I bought. This has shown to be forgiving and easy to work with. Anyone who wants to improve their short game should try these.
It took some time to get used to hitting, but it was well worth the effort. Sticks to the green by launching the ball high into the air.
The temperature is 60 degrees. The photo depicted a light colored shaft, but the one that arrived was black. I have an older version of a Mack Daddy, but this one has a larger head that is easier to slip under the ball and use the flange for short soft pitches! I have an earlier version of a Mack Daddy, but this one has a larger head that is easier to slip under the ball and use the flange for short soft pitches!.
In my opinion, the best wedge money can buy. It's well worth the money, and it has a very large face.
We all swing the club differently, so it's impossible to write a review that will be useful to everyone. Mack Daddys are what I use for all of my wedges below PW, and they're great. I've never had a pair of wedges as good as these.
Received in good condition; I have a 48-degree gap wedge and a 58-degree lob wedge in my bag. I enjoy the feel of the club and the way the ball exits. There are full face grooves on the 58. If these get worn out, I'll buy them again.
