The following however It does not stick worth a damn! I purchased and received a tape recently from this site. A lot of frustration! As I write this, I am on my way to get some 2" double-sided tape A roll of double-sided tape from Lowe's. In any case, since the Golfworks tape is not 2" wide, it would not cover accurately the diameter of a golf shaft if it did stick. The deal of the golf tape seems to be a bit sketchy, so I'm not sure if I just received a bad batch or if someone's just lying their but off about how great it is so that they can.
I have been using it for 25 years and have never experienced any issues. Recently, I have been buying clubs more frequently and I am not satisfied with the OEM grips so I regrip them with other grips (i. e. Approximately the size of a half dollar In fact, I have continued to grip many clubs and haven't used all of my old roll, so it would appear I didn't need another roll in the first place. In spite of this, this tape is very good and it should not be surprising since Golfworks consistently put out quality products The products are of high quality.
' It is sold for the purpose of creating golf clubs. It's been about 25 years since I started using this tape. We used to be able to buy it right there at the store, until most of Golfworks closed. Thank God it's still online. This is an excellent golf club tape, and I know that a lot of club makers are ditching the little grip strips that come with grip sets in order to use this tape. The slower tack with mineral spirits when you put on the grip will allow you to align, set, and align the grip properly in minutes rather than seconds. Besides golf club grips, I have used the product for other things as well. I find this double-sided sticky tape to be incredible low-tack.
My favorite type of tape is this one. During my four decades in the grip business, I've installed thousands of grips. If you have a lot of clubs to work on, this will make the job go quickly. The tape being used here is not thin and transparent. I'm talking about the good stuff here. You are reminded of cream colored masking tape by the color. In order for it to work, it needs a solvent. This type of tape has never caused any slips or inadvertent shifts in any grip that I have installed.
An understatement to say that this is useless! You can't stick the club to the wall with adhesive! That's all there is to it!.
The tape I have applied so far has been applied to one set of grips. It's only been two rounds since I put those grips on, but they seemed to be very good. According to the video, this tape is good.
I liked how the tape adhered and how thick it was. It is good for building up the diameter of the grip, one or several layers at a time. The width of the shaft completely wraps around it. An online video with instruction on how to make tape is very good.
The grip tape is great for golf clubs. Is thick enough to feel like it is going to hold up but is easy to manipulate. The adhesion is excellent.
