The correct way to use Brampton Golf Grip Solvent
5/5

In order to replace golf grips on clubs, you need a solvent after removing the old grip as well as the special tape that covers the clean shaft. This is the solution you should use when you remove the old grips. The Brampton golf grip solvent can be sprayed directly on the shaft and tape, allowing it to soak into the shaft completely and covering the entire area with solvent. Dry the shaft, apply the special tape to the shaft, and spray the solvent over the entire area. Fill the hole in the tip of the grip with solvent and spread the solvent inside the grip by shaking it. Be sure to cover the hole in the tip of the grip before you pour in the solvent. You should then spread the solvent that still remains over the new grip area after removing your finger from the small hole. Position the club shaft so that the grip opening matches the Put the new grip on the end of the grip at the point where it meets the tip of the You will need to turn the grip to the left or right as necessary to align the markings on top of the grip with the desired alignment of the grooves on the club head. You should adjust the grip twist so that the clubhead grooves are lined up from top to bottom of the grip as well as the grip itself. Almost a day should be enough to leave it in this state. You're going to love how this new grip improves your performance!.

I'm really happy with how it works - thanks This bottle has been used to regrip 2 full sets of clube
5/5

In past years I have regripped golf clubs (all on my own, not commercially) and have tried many "solvent + tape combinations" as well as components in kits and without kits, and have never liked any of them enough to consider purchasing or recommending. As I read online reviews about this solvent, I decided to buy the smaller bottle and try it out. What a beautiful picture! I really like it and I use it on a regular basis. This grip was so good that I bought the larger size for both my son's golf clubs and my wife's golf clubs, and regripped them both this month. I only misplaced one grip, and it was all my fault. This is the perfect combination with Intertape 591 Premium Double Sided Golf Grip Tape, 2" x 36 yds, for doing multiple sets at the same time. I didn't even need the grip expansion tool to get the grip started (that helps the grip start on the shaft) thanks to this solvent. Put these and a pair of quality GRIPS from Golf Pride or Lamkins in your wardrobe if you're planning on replacing your.

The best grip solvent you can find
5/5

There are few grip solvents I've found that are as effective as this one. It would have been easy to get by with the smaller 4 oz bottle instead of the 8 oz. You only need a little bit of this stuff to get a long way. You will need way more than 4 oz of grip even if you regrip a full set of clubs. We are very pleased with the spray nozzle's performance It was a breeze to pump several squirts into each grip with no mess at all. When it comes to cleaning clubs and wondering what solvent to use, this article will provide you with the answers. The one you want is this one. Here's a hint Before you install the grip tape on the new grip, make sure you rub some solvent on the underside of the grip tape with your finger if you use a bench vise to hold the club. While spraying your grip tape, it's important to spray the entire grip tape surface while in the vise, otherwise the underside could be dry and cause the grip to get hung up when you add pressure. This is a basic lesson from the school of hard knocks, "Been there, done that, won't do it again. ".

If you are not purchasing a spray bottle, you should not purchase a solvent
5/5

If you have an empty spray bottle at home that you fill, don't pour your solvent on top of your taped clubs. You waste a lot of solvent that way, and it's just incredibly wasteful. Instead, spray it from an empty spray bottle over your taped clubs. My favorite part of this product was that it came in a spray bottle, which allows me to apply it more evenly and efficiently. don't feel as if any of my time is wasted. As I only needed to replace 2 clubs, I bought a smaller spray bottle. If/when I need to purchase a bigger bottle, this bottle will probably work just fine. I was thinking this tiny bottle might actually be able to do two sets of clubs if used I found that this spray was pretty effective in combination with tape and grip, which were already good and ready. A perfect 5.

It did not work on graphite shafts with TackiMac grips
3/5

The grip solvent was on the floor. I don't know whether it was me, the TackiMac Arthritic grips (they're extra thick), the Hogan Apex graphite shafts, or the grips. Nevertheless, it did not work when it was assembled. Are you sure three minutes are enough? Originally I was going to use hand-sanitizer gel (yes, hand-sanitizer) with 60% alcohol, but found that it stayed wet much longer and lasted longer, giving me the time I needed to straighten the grips. As a result, I let the grips dry for a couple days, and then I used the solvent to clean the old grip tape residue off the shafts before re-taping the grips A gripping experience. I had no trouble using it for that. In fact, it performed better Thus, it is not a total loss and it is not worth the trouble of sending.

This is a simple to use app that does the job (for me, it was my first time using it)
5/5

Trying to do a 're-' for the first time Keep a firm grip on yourself. I watched some videos and though it looked easy, I was still a little unsure about doing the job by myself. It made it easy for me to align the grips before setting the solvent, and it allowed me plenty of time to do so. The next day I played a round with the new grips I had just installed myself. I left them to cure for a day. It is not a complaint.

I made it easy for you
5/5

It would have been great if I had gotten this right away. It's not like I couldn't get the kits because I thought I didn't need tape, and I had mineral spirits, so I didn't need spray. My attempt to use the spirits didn't work since I dislike the smell. I tried soapy water, but it didn't work either. I recommend you don't be cheapskate like me. Get it and don't waste your time! That said, I took 2 hours to put them on, which included removing the old ones, but they had been on the clubs for 30 years before I put these on. The fact that I've been in this business for 40 years didn't help either.

Solvent for golf grip tape that works great
5/5

Here is what I wrote My golf clubs should be gripped once or twice a year and re-regularly oiled Grips 1 and 2 It is more common for 3 clubs to meet together. I like the fact that the tape solvent is available in such a large bottle. As far as I remember, the only issue I've had is that the nozzle on the spray bottle for the solvent is cheap and stops working before the solvent is fully consumed. In all other respects, I am a big fan of this product.
