Questions & Answers
Nine inches is the length of each strip
It takes 9" of tape to cover 9" of area.
The vise was used by a friend of mine, so he had a steady brace to work with on the club when he used it. Protecting the club was done with some flat rubber pieces wrapped around Due to the fact that he had no idea about the tip from Jadie about wetting down the new tape to help slide it on, he had a bit of a difficult time applying it.

I finally got around to installing the new grip, and it was very easy. Please take note This is the first time I have realized that the tape included is DOUBLE-sided Because it is a top-sided grip, when you stick it to the grip, you still have to remove the backing on the other side. An idiot mistake I made on my original grip installation was to leave it on without removing the backing, so it would only slide on halfway. For me to remove the new grips, I had to cut them off. I have learned from this experience. Following this, the rest of the grips were easy to install. To get rid of the old grip, the hardest part is to remove it. There is a lot of rubber compound on the old grip and you need a good curved tool to slice it off. With the solvent and tape, it is quite easy to install a new grip. Being able to do it on my own gave me a sense of satisfaction.
In the past few weeks, I had my clubs re-polished For years, I thought it was too hard to play golf, so I was grasped by a golf shop. It only took a few minutes for me to use this kit and watch a couple of videos. I was able to do it so easily. With the the aid of a kitchen sink, I propped the club head over the sink while applying the solvent to 18 clubs in approximately 3 hours. I did not have a vise so I simply laid the head on the floor and removed the grip before If you want to use a grip cutter, make sure you have a good one. Upon ordering the Plum Garden Golf Club Grip Change Regrip Remover, I received it in the mail. I'm very pleased with how well the grip tape and the solvent worked. I've done 18 clubs and I'm still about a quarter of the way through the first bottle of grip tape after 15 tapes and 1 bottle were included in each pack. It is important to remember that the solvent dries quickly, so once the solvent is applied to the grips tape, you must get the grip on and aligned within 30 seconds.
It has all the tools you need to put on new grips, and it The old grips must first be removed before new grips can be put on (and while the shafts are still intact, if you have graphite shafts, do it without damaging them). I really enjoyed this kit since it was so easy to get the grips on but that you had to search for and find a hook blade in order to get the grips on.
I was blown away by its quality. Usually, I purchase large rolls of grip tape and solvent in order to regrip my clubs, but in recent years I find that the leftovers just sit and go to waste. With this kit, I have just enough supplies to regrip my clubs. It would have been nice to have had more solvent, though. If you spray the grip tape AND the inside of the grip, you will be able to remove it without damaging it As a result, we have a much smoother and easier experience. Regripping wasn't really my forte, so I didn't use the vice clamp much. In any case, I need to reshaft an 8 iron, so I'll be using it for that purpose. It worked an excellent job for me and is certainly worth the price tag.
I figured out the best way to proceed after only a few tries. My first few clubs went well, but I soon figured out how to do it correctly. You start by peeling both sides, but only by peeling You should then place it on the club and peel the other side at this point. It is by far the most difficult task to remove the old tape. A pain in the neck. The grips are not moving at all, and the new tape has held well. I have left it on for a while now.
It's rare for me to leave reviews, but this product is amazing. There is nothing that can come close to it I have gripped a club before but this was my first time I had no issues and I did not use a Vice. Don't let the negative comments make you feel like they did It worked great in conjunction with the lube all you have to do is make sure you have plenty on hand and use a large bowl to collect and re-use the lube. I would definitely use this product again.
The item shipped promptly and was well packaged. It was easy to install the new Golf Pride grips and they worked perfectly. By doing it yourself, you can save a lot of money and time. Follow the instructions and you'll see how to do it. While I recommend resting the clubs for 24 hours after installation instead of the much shorter period in the instructions, I strongly recommend not using any of them for 24 hours after installing.
As well as the step by step instructions (8 in total) and the YouTube video that demonstrates the ease of use, I liked the online video for this It made a huge difference in the performance of my new Ping putter that I added a Super Stroke grip to. One of the most difficult parts of getting off is the Having the knife held in a vise grip is very helpful in being able to control it. Although I'm fairly confident about changing my driver and 3 wood grips, I guess the real test will be changing my driver grip.
