When I spend all day swinging my long drive clubs at 130 mph and more, I use this epoxy
5/5

use this compound for my long drive clubs. I have tried other epoxy compounds, some of which are junk, some of which are decent, but this by far is the best. I have never had an issue with it, and it has a zero percent failure rate when used properly. Additionally, Brampton also has stellar customer service, returning emails within a few hours - a rare thing when it comes to real estate. Exactly one day later. My experience with other epoxy products has led me to never use anything else on my clubs. Most people complaining about epoxy failure probably used old epoxy, couldn't properly mix the epoxy, used too many glass shafting beads (shouldn't exceed 2%), or failed to allow it to They have a chemical engineer who says You shouldn't move the epoxy out of the hosel for at least 16 hours after it has been placed. I don't think it's even an inch there isn't even a Move the club after the thin film has begun to set and the strength can be reduced by as much as 50 percent. Make sure you follow the instructions, ask questions, and watch the video on how to do it. You will never run into any problems if you follow this rule. In addition, the M5 stuff is half the price of the Golf Works stuff, yes it takes a bit longer to cure, but yes it bonds much more strongly to the clubs.

It's not recommended to use this epoxy
3/5

Is it a bad batch that caused the bond failure? It is typically a good idea to buy long cure epoxy from Brompton since their reputation is good. My glue now failed on three wedges, one iron, and one hybrid in this batch I have one wedge, one iron, and It is still possible to turn the clubs over even after 36 hours of undisturbed dry time and without ever exposing them to extreme weather. On the first one, I thought perhaps I omitted a step in prepping the club, but I have been doing this for quite some time, and I am sure I did not make any errors. A custom-made hat I was working on today lost its head This is a shaft hybrid you might use once or twice during A very disappointing experience. In another review, someone noted that the epoxy seems more brittle than normal when it's dry. There might be a problem with that. While other shaft epoxies I've used seem to be a little more flexible once dry, this one doesn't seem to be. Would have to warn anyone away from this epoxy if I knew. My only regret is that it happened to my clubs and not to a set I built for another person.

Fast curing epoxy is the material I use most The Brampton brand epoxies are almost as old as I am and I've used them for almost as many years as I've done club repair
5/5

an iron has ever been loosen due to improper preparation, it's been my fault. It's not only I do repairs, but I also build clubs on a huge scale. components, and I set to work building wedges, putters, hybrids, etc. up to 1000/1200 of each. So far, I've assembled about 8000 clubs, and when they are mixed and stored at the recommended temperature, I have observed that Brampton does what it is The shafting beads will mix well with this too!.

Neither the best nor the most effective
4/5

Here, I am referring to the two bottles of epoxy, one harder and opaque, and another darker and epoxy. A coat of epoxy can last around 4 times as long as a coating of According to them, fully cured concrete has a compressive strength of 3200psi. My pull tests showed similar results, however I have gotten comparable or even better strength with the epoxy that takes 30 minutes to set. If you are going to use a 24 hour epoxy that costs more, I would expect the results to be It is only in times of crisis that I will purchase fast setting epoxy. If you want to pull test your epoxy, you can purchase a better product that will cure in 24 hours, have higher impact strengths, and cure easier than this one. If you want to pull test the epoxy, you should buy a product with a higher impact strength or easier to use.

This is a good solution
5/5

My experience as a high swing player teaches me to not skimp on epoxy when building my drivers using components costing $500 or more. This was recently used with a Titleist TS2 / TENSEI Pro Orange combo and set up perfectly, held up very well (even in 20° weather), and most importantly not let my driver head fly off to the side I like about this epoxy better than the golfworks black epoxy is it allows me to remove the heads without as much heat as I need when using the golfworks epoxy. If your graphite shaft is expensive and you do not want to melt it, you need to keep this in mind.

Assembly of the club is made easier by this product
5/5

I found this epoxy to be very easy to use, and it The product did not work as described in a few reviews. The idea that you need to be very close to 1 part A, 1 part B, as it turns out, makes all the difference. Please re-read We have shafted 16 clubs so far and still have plenty left over if a few more Unless you are assembling a whole bunch of golf clubs, it is best to get this stuff in smaller sizes since this stuff does have a shelf life.

Plastics of any kind could be glued with this glue
3/5

This is not what it does! My ten-year-old club maker glue by goldsmith worked as I reglued a broken lift lever handle on a bar stool. When I glued it on it fell apart right away. I was glad I kept the Goldsmith glue as it helped reattach the handle. My phone rang today and it worked just fine. Even after pressing the pedal hard, there was still no braking. On a golf club head, this glue is not trustworthy, so I am going to have to discard it.
