Questions & Answers
The maximum weight allowed is 350 pounds, according to the description. I'm pretty sure that's correct, because it's held up to some pretty big people.
This is a question I'd direct to the manufacturer.
It's light, but the handle isn't very pleasant to hold. I ended up returning this chair and replacing it with stadium chairs from Costco for about half the price, which have foam wrapped handles that are incredibly comfortable to hold. Despite the fact that I had to pay for shipping, I was still in the black!
I'm not sure, but while I was looking, I didn't think anything. Nothing stood out to me.
Selected User Reviews For The Stadium Chair Game Changer Stadium Chair
The chairs are well-built and provide excellent back support. The fabric seat is actually suspended above the base of the chair and accommodates people of various sizes because there are no arms. The seat of one of the two chairs we bought collapsed, and we discovered that the thick cords strung beneath the chair had come undone. It was simple to reattach the seat, and it worked perfectly after that. Because of their sturdy construction, they are a little heavy, so keep that in mind if you need to transport them over a long distance. Other reviewers had brilliant ideas for carrying long distances by tying the two chairs together, rigging them to something slung over their backs, and so on. They are, however, manageable and fold up nicely for storage. On the bottom, there is a small lever that can be swung out to "lock" onto a bleacher. That might work for thin metal bleachers, but none of the thick plastic basketball bleachers we've sat in have been able to accommodate that locking lever. However, it does not appear to be a problem because the chairs do not move. We have had to position the chair a little forward or backward depending on the shape of the bleachers in order for it to feel stable and not rock when we sit back in it, but the seats are great overall. They've made a significant difference in our ability to enjoy ourselves at baseball games.
This is the second time we've bought a chair like this. We've had a couple of these for three years and they're still going strong. When we needed another, I went straight to this company. The chair is both durable and comfortable to sit in. We've had them in trunks, truck beds, and the backs of SUVs all over the place, transporting them to various games. This chair has served us well. These have a fold-down arm that clips onto the bleacher seat, which is a great feature. If the bleachers are designed in such a way that the clip will not work (solid front or whatever), the clip folds out of the way and the chair remains usable. They're made of metal, so they'll last a long time. br>br>They're also very comfortable, which comes in handy when you're sitting in the stands for hours on end.
br>I like how we were able to remove the back and have some embroidery done on it. br>They are sturdy in general, with the exception of what appears to be a weak spring action in the back, which I was afraid would fail. Two small spring steel tabs support the back, which makes me uneasy. So far, it hasn't failed, so everything is fine.
I've been to a lot of football and basketball games, and this is by far the best. The seat suspends you from actually touching the bench, so you can sit for a long time without getting sore, unlike other seats with cushions that flatten out and hurt over time, and it fits almost all of the stadium seats (benches) so you aren't over-seated. dangling from the ceiling and causing a ruckus in the crowd behind you The disadvantage is that it is heavier than the other chairs; however, the seat's comfort level makes it the obvious choice, and it is far more durable than the other chairs.
Finally, a stadium chair that is both comfortable and supportive; bleachers are a body-numbing, muscle-aching experience, with soft bleacher pads providing little relief. These seats are extremely sturdy; no part of the seat touches the bleacher, you are completely supported by the chair and its back, and the optional extra arms are well worth the money. Although they are a little heavy and expensive, if you attend many bleacher events like we do, you can expect to get a lot of use out of them.
I needed some back support and a little cushion for my butt, as well as stadium seats for basketball and baseball games. It supported my back and, while it isn't a true "cushion," it was better than the hard bleacher and didn't hurt my tailbone. It is also quite heavy. However, the positives outnumber the drawbacks.
This is the second time we've ordered from them. Long-distance swimming meets benefit greatly from this support. I removed the backs and had our school's mascot and last name embroidered on them by a local shop. They came out beautifully!.
I was sitting on the floor, next to the basket, photographing basketball games. Until I bought the Stadium Chair, this was extremely uncomfortable. I thought it would work well for me on the court floor after seeing fans in the bleachers sitting on them. IT DOES! With its rubber-like surface, it's also a great choice for You won't scratch your wood floors thanks to the non-slip base. The chair has a handle that can be used to carry it when folded. The chair backing is secured with two screws (provided), which I recommend screwing in right away to prevent the backing from slipping out when you carry it from the handle. Overall, this chair is well-made and comfortable to sit in.
