Because I'm 5'4, I'm not sure what makes you comfortable, but if you can sit in this position, you'll love the chair. It has a nice thick cushion and the back flexes just enough to give it a little give, which I find very comfortable, as does my husband. I looked at a lot of different seats and saw a lot of them on other people's couches, and I'm very pleased with my purchase.
The cushion is secured to the frame so that it does not come into contact with the wet bleachers.
With this lovely chair, that would not be my choice. In my opinion, the base was not designed to be flat on the ground.

I'm not sure why this stadium chair seems to be so popular. Although the cushion is more substantial, the seat is only a few inches deep. (They aren't even as deep as standard bleachers. ) When you lean back in this chair, the back is straight up with no give. It's the most uncomfortable stadium chair I've ever sat in because of this (along with the seat's shallowness). I tried one that one of my friends was using, and it was SO much more comfortable, plus it had armrests that were actually usable. I immediately returned this one and went out and bought one of those, never looking back. It's the GCI Outdoor Big Comfort Stadium Chair that I purchased, for those who are interested.
In comparison to sitting on a hard, cold basketball bleacher, this seat feels like I'm sitting on a pillow. I really like how thick the seat cushions are. The bottom hook is large enough to attach to the bottom of a bleacher seat or stadium chair, and it is very easy to open. I can lean back slightly and the hook will keep my chair in place without causing me to fall backwards. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the seat is a little heavy, but I'd rather have that than a seat with no padding! I received many compliments and inquiries about where I purchased the seat the first time I used it. I also appreciate how high the seat is in comparison to other seats. When I'm in the bleachers at my kids' games, I can see over people. I just hope the seat cushion lasts a long time. Let us see what happens.
Our child participates in travel hockey, and I believe we can all agree that hockey parents are the worst. We're enraged, loud, aggressive, and sometimes violent, and it's always the other team's fault; we're sitting on a hard bench in a cold room, experiencing high levels of anxiety. There isn't much to get excited about besides warm gas station coffee with alcohol in it. THIS HAS BEEN THE CASE UP TO THIS POINT. This heavenly throne is what I call it. It's light and airy, and it makes other guys envious. I'm 6'2" and very attractive, and this seat is ideal for me in every way. Instead of concentrating on my numb bottom, I can now easily hurl insults at minors. If you're short, you might find this a little too high, but my girlfriend discovered that kicking the person in front of you enough times will allow you to put your wet and muddy Uggs on the next row.
I'm just getting started with them. Soccer games are much more enjoyable without a sore bottom, so spending the extra money is well worth it.
This is the most comfortable stadium seat available. I devote a lot of my time to watching my daughters play softball. It has helped me save my back. These last few months have been a pain in the buttocks for me. It has a lot of padding in the buttocks. I like how the hook keeps me from falling over when I lean back. I get a lot of compliments whenever I use it. Several people have inquired as to where I got it. It's so fantastic that I bought a second one for my husband!.
Extra padding, a wider seat, and a light weight make this a convenient chair to transport. a seat that is as comfortable as it gets; That is all I have to say on the subject!.
From August to November, I am literally in the bleachers for 8 hours every Saturday because they are on separate teams in the same league. Other bleacher seats I've had were either too thin, uncomfortable, or the velcro that held them together ripped my shirt. I wish they were easier to carry, because I'm the family mule and have to carry all of the chairs, blankets, coolers, and other items, and they're too big to just throw in with everything else. They're light, but holding two on the same arm is inconvenient. However, these are without a doubt the best and most comfortable stadium seats I've ever experienced! If these ever wear out, I'll buy them again.
no pain. And it made people jealous. Before going to DCI's Allentown performance, I bought blue and black chairs for myself and my sister. It was our first time watching a DCI event in real time. two days of hours spent in a bleacher-style stadium. Different chairs were provided for our friends (who were regular attendees). I had broken my tailbone about two months prior to the event, and I usually get pain when I sit for long periods of time. This chair had no one in it. My peers admired us greatly. Ours were simpler to set up, secure, and cushion our bottoms without putting pressure on our tailbones. The following are the only drawbacks I can see: I'm going to add a strap so I don't have to carry it by the handle all of the time, and it's not ideal for short legs (the cushion is thick, so you're up higher than usual). I didn't have any issues because I'm 5'10" tall. My sister has shorter legs, but she said she didn't mind how they hung because she was comfortable in the areas that mattered the most; I wasn't sure how comfortable the back would be based on how it looked, but it was fine.
