Initially, I purchased the organge version, which is extremely durable and solid, but it turned out to be the unforfable version. I contacted the seller and received a prompt response. Returning without a hitch, I reordered the foldable white one. To save garage space, set up a quick and simple folder for storage. My 7-year-old son is so enthusiastic about shooting that he can now practice in the backyard.
The goal is solid and heavy. The internet is also of good quality. Give yourself some time to install the net so you don't rush it because it looks great. I gave assembly a 4 out of 5 only because of the net time, but the way it's put together is the best and looks great.
For our goalie, this is a great goal to practice at home. It's heavy enough to keep it in place, but light enough for her and me to move around in. Although we keep it "open" most of the time, the folding feature is very convenient; frame assembly is simple; net stringing is time-consuming but not difficult.
Orange was the color. I ordered white, and it appears that there is no quality control in place. It appears to be reasonable, but only time will tell if it is. The directions were clear and concise. Hole alignment isn't perfect. It was a bit of a juggle.
In general, this was exactly what my daughter needed. Because it is in the backyard, there is no need to assemble and disassemble it; however, tying the net on makes it much easier to assemble with two people. My 14-year-old, on the other hand, proved to be up to the task.
The sturdiness and simplicity of assembly have left us very impressed.
This is a great goal. The assembly is simple. The only complaint I have is that the instructions said I needed to build an 8'x4' goal, not a 6'x6' goal. It was humiliating when I realized the drawing was incorrect. Aside from that, this is an excellent purchase.
