Cotton and elastic in a mix; I'm not sure how much of each is in the mix.
This is a pair of ankle socks.
I'm not sure, but my guess is that it'll be China. I've ordered them twice and use them as slippers around the house.
I haven't attempted to cover them with shoes. In a wheelchair, you don't need any shoes. The socks are wonderful. These are special hospital socks that you are given to keep you from slipping on the floors while you are in the hospital. These are for my elderly father, who can barely walk, and they help him avoid slipping.

I slipped and landed hard on the slick, hard laminate floor. I had to go to the ER and couldn't walk without a walker or cane for a month. Three months later, I'm walking without a limp, but it hurts. Doctors say I should be back to normal by January, but my injury is painful and limits how far I can walk. br>br>My physical therapist recommended that I purchase floor mats. socks with a good grip So I bought a three-pack, which came with a convenient zippered pouch as a bonus! I chose a variety of items. Set of colors I don't have to be concerned about slipping and falling any longer. The socks are a perfect fit for me (I'm a size 13), they look great, and they feel great. If I had purchased them a few months ago for the estimated $15, I would not have fallen and been in the pain and inconvenience I am now. Do yourself a favor and read this article. br>br> ACT NOW AND PURCHASE THEM! Save yourself the expense of a hospital visit, as well as the pain, disability, and suffering that comes with it. Purchase one for each member of your family, regardless of age. They have a great appearance and feel, and they can literally save your life!.
I wear a size 9 most of the time. With a 3E width, a size 5 or 10 shoe is ideal. I'm the type of person who prefers to walk around barefoot because regular socks irritate my skin. I don't mind wearing socks, but I prefer to walk around barefoot. My home's first floor has mostly hard surface floors, such as wood and tile, and because I have a crawl space beneath it, my floors get cold in the winter. So I needed something that I could easily slip on and that wouldn't feel as tight as regular socks. br>I ordered a size 8 and received it in a timely manner. I'm a size 12 and these are just right for me. They're not too loose, but not too tight, and they're comfortable to wear. I'm not sure why people are complaining about how tight these are. I believe these individuals either purchased the incorrect size or have extremely large feet. They may feel tight in a size 12 or larger, but these socks are stretchy, so I don't see how anyone would have trouble putting them on. This is not a pair of thermal socks. br> They keep my feet warm on cold floors, but they aren't the best choice for true cold protection. The bottom pads appear to be very nice and will undoubtedly aid in preventing skidding or slipping, but keep in mind that these are slipper socks, so don't expect them to completely prevent an elderly person from falling. That necessitates the use of footwear. br>So far, I'm satisfied with my purchase; however, only time will tell how good the material quality is. I'll come back and update my review if these start to fail quickly. They appear to be at ease. The fabric is smooth and non-scratchy. They're definitely ankle-length, if not shorter. I'd recommend them right now because they don't have any rough spots or uncomfortable seams on the inside. br>I got the 3 pack with grays and blacks (the set with no other colors)br>*** Update **
It's been about 2 weeks since I got these and I'm starting to have some reservations. I was given three pairs, but I have only worn two of them. One of the socks has a hole in the heal, which I discovered today. To be clear, I do not do anything crazy in these socks; I do not wear them outside, and I do not play basketball in them. My house has carpet and hardwood floors, so I wear them there. It's not a good sign when one of these socks develops a hole in the heel after only two weeks. I'll keep a close eye on them and update this review if things worsen. I have yet to lower my rating.
He was constantly falling and injuring himself when he walked in his regular socks, but these perform admirably on hardwood floors, keeping him safe. They're also simple to put on and take off for the caregiver. They keep their shape and size after many washes. br>I know these are designed for Pilate and Yoga, but they are perfect for my husband and give me peace of mind that he will not slide or fall. I was so taken aback by them that I ordered a second set. br>Perfect for a different purpose!.
These are by far the most sticky socks I've ever worn. I now have better control over my work, no slipping inside my sock, and the best grip on carpeted floors in class. These have quickly become my favorite pair of socks.
These are exactly what my husband needed at home after knee replacement surgery, and they work perfectly. I was worried about the fit because he has very wide feet, but it's perfect. They're nice and sturdy, plus they're very comfortable and stylish!.
They come in a cool canvas bag that can be reused. br>br>The socks themselves have a lot of traction! They were purchased for Barre, but they could be used for a variety of other activities as well. br>br>If you're looking for non-skid socks, these are a great option!.
Slip on "foo foo" fuzzy slippers for women, only to have them fall apart, develop holes, and so on in a short time. The slip socks are fantastic. They are well-made and keep my feet warm. I would strongly advise!.
I got them because I have MS and have trouble with stability, and my entire female side of the family freaks out if I wear regular socks! (Though they may have a point because I recently dislocated my shoulder due to a fall. )br>br>These socks do the job!.
