Questions & Answers

Is this the first of a two-part series? Or maybe just a single block?

It's a single building. Approximately 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 4"

Is this a pair of yoga blocks or just a single block? Isn't this listed as part of a set of two blocks on Amazon?

Separately, the blocks can be purchased. I suppose they could be sold as a set, but that should be stated in the advertisement along with the price, which was around $11 for the blocks I bought. 00 each.

Is $11 a good price? Is it 98 for a single block or a pair of two?

For one block, I paid around that amount.

Could you please send me the inspired version?

Okay

It's a yoga block, to be precise
5/5

A yoga block is a basic piece of equipment. I'm not sure what else to say about it except that it works well as a yoga block. It has a blocky appearance to it. in addition to yoga- If you're looking for a yoga block, this one will definitely suffice.

Is it possible that the Gaiam Block is a forgery? I ordered this block online on Amazon because I already have a Gaiam block in the gray color that I bought with a strap a few months ago and I wanted to get another block so I could have two for my yoga practice
3/5

I ordered the Storm Gray block, and once it arrived in my house, I realized that this block looks like it's a fake; it's not original. The logo is on one side of my original Gaiam block, but it is on both sides of the block that I just bought here, and it looks different than the original. The color is also different from the one I received from Gaiam. Similarly, the block's corners appear to be cut unevenly. If I am able to, I will return this block.

It's most likely a forgery - impressionable and supple This block was purchased because I desired a firmer alternative to the one I purchased at a discount store
3/5

As soon as I pressed my fingers against the block, it developed dents. It is not at all sturdy, and the material does not appear to be of good quality. In addition, as soon as I opened it, it reeked of plastic and chemicals. Regrettably, I did not check on this item until after the return period had ended. I wish Amazon would take action in the face of counterfeit goods.

I'm not a fan
3/5

Blocks of poor quality. At $7 a piece, you get exactly what you pay for. It took about two weeks to receive them, and they were sent in separate envelopes, which was odd. br>br>These were on Amazon's top pick list of best yoga blocks, so I ordered them. I thought they were perfect for my beginner Hatha and Yin yoga because of their review. br>br>At first glance, they appeared to be in good shape; they were shrink-wrapped. The product was wrapped in hard plastic packaging and had the brand's logo on it. br>As soon as I unwrapped them, I smelled burnt foam and noticed cosmetic dents and scratches. br>br>There appeared to be three of them as well. On one of them, there are four small fingertip indentations. The dents and scratches show that they aren't as sturdy or firm as I had hoped. br>I figured it was no big deal; I'd still be able to use them because I'd been in need of them. They're going to get scuffed anyway, so why not? Then I noticed one block was a fraction of an inch shorter on the long side than the other, and when I placed the blocks side by side on the short ends, I could see the blocks were cut slightly unevenly, like a slope. On one of its edges, it is more noticeable. Because of the uneven cut, they wobble a little and aren't very stable. br>br>At the end of the day, I don't know if these are knock-offs or not. Gaiam Yoga factory's quality control is either shoddy or non-existent. In any case, they're a low-quality product, but at $7 each, I suppose you get what you pay for. The colors are nice, and the plastic packaging was of good quality. br>br>The only pros I can think of are the colors and the plastic packaging. br>br>Rather than trying to recoup my losses, I'd rather just cut my losses. It'll be too much trouble, and I won't be able to devote my time to it.

Yoga beginners will love this block
5/5

I'm still learning yoga and found that some of the poses required the use of a block. I'm 230 pounds, and this block is more than capable of supporting me. I bought one block over ten years ago and just bought another one recently, and they are identical, indicating that the quality is still there. I have arthritis, so I use one of these to elevate my knees during some of the poses, and it really helps.

Storm Grey color variation / Delayed Shipping I was let down
3/5

On the 9th and 10th of August, I placed an order for two "Stormbr>Grey" blocks in less than 24 hours. The first block took a month to arrive, while the second took 15 days, despite the fact that the two are slightly different in color shades and height and width. I'm a colorist, so I understand that colors vary from lot to lot, and even more from factory to factory, but one of these blocks looks nothing like Storm Grey to me. When color tolerances are exceeded, manufacturers typically try to assign the same color shades to the same retailers. I understand that it took a month for it to arrive because we are in the midst of a global pandemic, and I also understand the need to produce in any way possible, but the two I received should have come from the same batch or be of similar color. In addition, one of the blocks had some flaws when it arrived.

It really works
5/5

We cut ours in half to use for hip alignment when they are misaligned, as instructed by our physical therapist. br>br>They can also be used to sleep on with one under each hip when cut in half, but you must angle them correctly to match your misalignment. br>br>This is something I would buy again.

The absolute best value for your money can be found here
5/5

Gaiam manages to do it once more! They make excellent products. I own two Gaiam mats, and when I began incorporating blocks into my studio practice, I sought out blocks that I could use at home. I looked around (as do most people) before settling on these due to their excellent design and construction. They're the perfect size for anyone to use, they're extremely durable, and the green color makes me happy. If you're looking to begin a yoga practice or if your needs have changed, I strongly advise you to purchase Gaiam's blocks. I shop around, but I always return to them because they make the best products, including these blocks.
