Although it was a short-lived belt, it was very useful. Unfortunately, the stitching of one side of the Velcro has completely ripped out after less than 4 months. The least I can say is that I am disappointed.
For my job in logistics, this chair provides exceptional support when I am standing or squatting freight up to 170 pounds hundreds of times a day, as well as excellent lower back support when I am whipped around on the uncomfortable forklift seats located throughout the warehouse area. Velcro is strong and the retainer ring is solid as well, which allows it to hold compression for rigorous lifting while being easily adjustable so that it can be worn for forklift time too. I have had it for months now and it is still durable and functional. The cutouts on the sides of this shirt make it comfortable to wear for 8 years and older I was able to wear it for 14 hours without feeling it dig into my ribs or hips like most belts do. *highly recommended support for both incidences.
It feels like a piece of thick cardboard encased Getting on and off is uncomfortable, and the piece moves while worn. I feel a bit down. When I was working out, I was suffering from chronic back pain and hoped that it would help. I am disappointed.
At first I thought it was thin and cheaply made, but I was surprised by how much I liked This is a shirt I wear 3 to 4 times a week, and it has been holding up well so far. The only exercises I do in my garage are light ones. After 5 months of recovery from a nasty back injury, I'm looking for a belt to give me extra support for Having the heavy-duty leather belt is great for the heavy stuff, but it is not very comfortable, and as a result I wear this belt for the duration of my workout in order to minimize strain on my joints. While I wasn't expecting it to last forever, I would buy a replacement if this one goes out of style.
I am a 48-year-old former FC Forner football player who weighs over 400 pounds, and I still clean almost 225 pounds. I mention that because I still like to try to push the boundaries every once in a while. When I bought the double extra I had to pay a little extra My weight was 367 pounds. I had a large belt. There is no substitute for the locking feature of these belts. In fact, the only reason I didn't give it five stars is due to the fact that the new extra large belt feels much smaller than the old belt. This means that I have lost a lot of weight, but my stomach still looks big. When the belt is tight enough, the area it is supporting does not feel as wide from top to bottom as it did on the last belt. If the extra large belt could be made using thicker or wider material, that would be ideal.
This belt is a superb investment for the low price. Honestly, I haven't found a nicer belt at this price. To squat heavy and deep, I need it to provide the support I need. Having used it for close to a month now, I am still feeling positive about it. I have also observed that when squatting heavy, the Velcro does not budge.
I hurt my back doing something stupid - I wore this belt when I hurt my back - The apparatus for stretch cords has been updated with #160. With the belt I had been using, I was able to do the same workout with no back pain after a couple weeks off to recover. I own another belt that is 4" on both sides, but that does not support my lower back as well as this 4" front/6" rear belt.
In my first two weeks of using the belt I have been very pleased with it, it is amazing for moderate lifting, depending on how much support you need We have pushed it to its limits and it performs almost as well as its leather counterpart. The tapered lumbar support adds greatly to the comfort as well. The product has been very good so far, a great value for the money.
