Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how much weight it can support?

My belt broke when I did 180lb weighted dips, as the metal hoops holding the chain bent under the load. I can only assume this belt can not handle weights over 180lbs unless you replace the standard hoops with heavy duty ones. Carabigners had to be put on the hoops to replace the old hoops. Plates can now fit on the belt up to 270 lbs, which is the maximum amount that can be put on there

The belt can be used as a hip squat belt, right?

Although 45s will probably hit the ground if you use them, I'm sure it can be done.

Are there belts that are designed both to serve as a dip belt and a weight belt? If not, are they available?

It has always been a question of mine whether there are belts which can serve both purposes so I would not have to buy two belts and carry them simultaneously. There would be no way around it. The one I was looking for is actually here. I am talking about a Genesis Universal Lifting/Dipping Belt made by WSF. The book looks good, but I don't know if I would buy it.

Can you hold 3 45 pounds plates with this chain?

The type of plate determines how long it takes to cook a chicken One of the plates in my gym has notches along the outer edge marked with 45 lb. However, I came up with a better solution It took me just one turn of the chain around a 125 lb dumbbell, and the chain was To do this, stand up straight with the dumbbell.

The product has upgraded parts and is of high quality
5/5

I must say I am very impressed with this belt, especially now that I have upgraded the belt. The belt is extremely comfortable, nicely constructed, and has a secure fitting buckle. In addition to the 30inch chain that comes on the belt stock, I have added 12 additional inches of chain that is the same chain as on the belt, making the system's total chain length 43 inches including the Quick Link attachment. "Chain" has a safe work load of 520 lbs, "Quick Link" has a safe work load of 880 lbs and "Carabiner" has a safe work load of 260 lbs. A chain can easily hold more than 5 45lb plates at a time in your private space without being intrusive. To date, I have tested it doing dips with 3 45lb plates, which is 135 lbs, and I found it to be quite flexible. All told, it cost me $40 for the belt and extra parts. It cost me no more than a few dollars to purchase the extra parts at Lowe's. Here are some pictures to give you a better idea of what it looks like with the new parts and how the item numbers for the parts are on the receipt for those interested in going through the same process. This should be of some assistance. I hope you have a fun time. We'll talk later.

I have purchased it a second time because it is THAT good
5/5

In a nutshell, The first dip belt I bought at the gym was stolen, so this is my second purchase. I have had several other brand name belts, but most of them started ripping after a certain period of time. A few pro's A long chain of links is sufficient Hooked through three 45 lb plates 2) Adjustable via carabiner whether you want a longer or shorter moment arm*After navigating pull-throughs on the red carpet, I fell on the plane. With this belt, you can up to 110 pounds of weight and still feel In addition, the padding needs to feel comfortable enough that it does not dig into your skin and it should hold its shape without being too soft. The cons are Having used my first belt for three years, there is not much that I wish it had. I'd like it if the chain was able to be removed so I could wash the belt itself once in a while.

In exchange for $20, I feel like I've been robbed
5/5

In exchange for $20, I feel like I've been robbed. I find the belt to be very comfortable for both weighted dips and pulling This will probably be my last set of ups, so I wouldn't expect it to last much longer. Only thing I don't like is the clip and how it is attached to the belt. The clip has sharp edges and enjoys grabbing fingers and shirts when worn. Although I am of the opinion that it would be nice if the buckle was on the other side, I can just wear the belt upside down if absolutely necessary. The following is an anecdote about The guy with the same belt, but it was four years old, was at the gym with me. Although it looked grimy, there were no tears or frays, and he has been hanging 90 lbs or more on it for most of the last 4 years, so I am hopeful. He had an older belt with a snap hook instead of the carabiner I have, but they appeared to be identical other than the snap hook. Maybe the snap hook is less durable, but it's more practical and I might replace the carabiner with it. However, I regret that I did not buy a Harbinger polypro dip belt years ago it still stands to reason that it is a GOOD product.

Weighted pullups, dips, etc
5/5

I have only used this a few times, but WOW, it is much more comfortable using this for weighted dips or pull ups instead of sand bags or weights in a backpack. By wearing this belt and chain, it adds a little weight to your whole frame, but does not restrict upper body movement or nerves. As a result of this evenly distributed weight, your whole body does not tilt backwards as it would with a heavy backpack. that I've spoken about it, I should actually do the workouts rather than just write about them.

During the chain shortening, the length was shortened
3/5

I gave it 3 stars because my gym has the same belt, but it is older, and the chain on the older belt It is evident that they reduced costs by shortening the chain. My legs aren't long enough to accommodate a 45-pound plate, so I had to add links myself.

Even with care, the chain link broke
3/5

The quality of the overall product Here's an update Originally I was going to do it this way, but I changed Haha, I actually plan on keeping the product. It was disappointing to find one of the links broke after such a light weight and so recently after buying. In any case, the overall quality appears to be good, and it doesn't seem others have a problem with the product. I will simply buy a strong carabiner to fix the broken side. I will update again if anything else goes wrong (hopefully not more). Review of the original There has been no product that has stood up to the standards of this good brand, a brand which I've used before with positive results.

THE The following *br I like the thick fabric (black) and the rigidity of the material. The following *br It has good support on the back, it is not unbearable (BEST Feature. I like it very much. The following *br That's a bit out of the question. old-fashioned weight belt is best suited to people with relatively large legs and legs with plenty of room to move around Body proportion between the waist and hips. Upon adding more than 50 pounds, I found it difficult to keep my belt from sliding away Besides weight belts that overlap (like a support belt) and have an extension chain or strap to add weight, I've seen others that wrap around the waist. I am sorry, but I did this mistake. The item is sold as advertised, I did not do enough research. The following *br ONE STAR WAS GIVEN FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS We can buy the chain ends for a cheap price I broke my last night with just 55lbs on it. It was my responsibility to handle the chain as well. When I am loading weight onto the ground, I make sure not to break the chain or put too much pressure My disappointment is increased by the use of cheap metal links that break at such a light weight on such an otherwise good product from a prestige brand. Based on other reviews, it seems that this issue does not occur until a third or more plate is consumed. In my case, this is not the case.

It is now being made with a short chain, which makes it very difficult to attach and use the belt comfortably when loading plates up to 45lb All the other people with the same problem have advised lengthening the chain first, so I'll try that first before replacing it with a better quality product
