I ordered a Large because I have a 36" waist. To fit through the very last set of holes on the belt, I had to put my hand through the last hole. I'm way too small for this! Afterwards, I went to a sporting goods store and bought another XL, giving the other belt to my son with a 32" waist. There isn't much I can suggest other than I'd order the next size up if I were you.
If you use a large belt, you would be at the last 2nd or 3rd eyelet based on my waist size.
A simple thing I do to improve the size of any belt is to wet it, heat it (a blow dryer), then stretch it with your hands or with a growler A long time.

A large part of the belt's interior is made of cardboard. This is my second belt, which rips immediately. Upon seeing the item in a store, I bent a brand new one to see if it could be the one that I bought and it began to tear right away.
It has a lot of good reviews on Amazon, which is what made me buy the belt. In the beginning, the item looked fine, but within a week of use the belt tore, apparently due to the fact that I had to belt it to keep A picture attached shows the severe tear now affecting the entire left side of the picture. My return or refund on Amazon led me to contacting the maker. So I clicked "Return or Refund" on Amazon. After contacting Harbingerfitness, I received a response within a day. after 2 weeks, they told me to contact the original seller (a wonderful closed loop of responsibility being transferred to them). I became frustrated after it took the maker 2 weeks to get back to me. Since then, when I try to return or refund on Amazon, it says I have reached my 30 day return period. A disappointment all the way around.
Let me tell you that I'm not a heavy lifter and I don't wear this belt every single day. Please take a moment to look at The quality of their products and their reputation have both fallen.
There are a lot of similarities between it and I only used it for five weeks before it broke. The quality of the product is poor. There's no leather in this bag, but it looks like it! The thing is cardboard! Shame on you!.
It looks professional, is sturdy, and has padding on it. Despite what your assumptions may be, I'm not a powerlifter. However, it is still going strong three years later. There were no issues at all.
Harbinger's size chart indicates that while I am an extra large, I am in the high end of the bracket for extra larges, which means, according to them, I need an almost After losing just a few inches, the extra large no longer fits me at its first pair of holes, meaning it is too big and no longer effective. Several times, the size chart provided by this retailer has been off on the side of "fits much too big". If they had just listed the length of the belt, I could have made the appropriate size choice on my own. I've used this model and brand extensively before and they are a quality belt for the money. Seller sends a shipping label so I can return the item and buy the correct size. Seller is responsive and provides quality service.
Compared to the existing belts I had, this one is much more comfortable and supports his back well. The existing belts were either too large or too small for him. In a smaller size, I ordered a worker's back support from Home Depot, and it fits me okay, so I'm glad to give my son the higher-quality piece he really needs We still have a lot to learn, so I don't want him to hurt himself overdoing it. The first priority should always be safety!.
But it feels cheaply made with inferior materials, so IMO don't bother.
