There are no problems fitting a normal size Olympic 45 plate on any of the pegs except the middle one I put 2 45s on one of the bottom pegs for better weight distribution, and it still handled
The collars are devices that attach to the ends of the bar in order to hold the weight plates in There is a locking mechanism that is usually plastic or metal, but some are metal spring like
The vertical rod does not need to be loaded with weights. In terms of weight placement, I recommend that the heavier weights are placed on top of the horizontal rods and balancing the weight on each leg of the rods. was mentioned in my review and in many others', the horizontal rods are not tight when installed, but this doesn't really present a problem while using the product.
Each weight may have a different size. There are weights ranging from 5 lbs to 25 lbs plates I can use, and all of them fit well. The tree is very sturdy and As long as you have at least all 25 pound big plates, depending on how many and where they are, they all should fit comfortably. It might be wise to balance them on both sides so that the weight does not pull down on one side. Hope that Hope you have a great journey!

In a nutshell, Weighing trees of this quality are not good. In order to keep the base flush with the floor, it is extremely difficult. There is a problem with the arms because they are set in a too wide hole and the smaller nuts are not true 7/16 or 3/8, so I Weights can be placed on it, however.
Marcy, this is the end of my relationship with the company. It would be fair to compare this project to a fake version of a weight plate tree that you might see in a fisher price toy store. The brackets that support the bottom feet were warped outwards at the point where the crossbar connects to them, so nothing quite lined up right. It did not seem to be solid after tying down the bolts in step four of the instructions. If you want to return this, I think it will be worth the effort. It would be better for me to not have a weight tree for my adjustable dumbbell set compared to this In the end, I paid $33 dollars for this purchase as well. The weight tree looks exactly like I expected it to look. My major complaint is how the 1" "branches" are attached to the tree. A bolt hole is located about 1" high on the branch the branch goes through a hole in the tree, and the bolt has to be threaded through the through holes. It is mysterious to me why they did not thread the tree and have the branch seat into the tree, as it looks much cleaner and is more sustainable, especially since the through-hole method for the branch does not provide stability and the branch (and tree) wobble when loaded up. My normal routine isn't to write reviews, but I feel it's important that you guys pay attention to my warning before the entire tree falls. Then again it's 33 bucks again. LOL I don't know if I can complain about it, but I feel like I should? It may be quarantine that is making me mad.
This model claims it can hold hundreds of pounds (I forgot the number) on each of its pegs, but I do not trust this model. With my heavier weight, I anchored myself into the middle peg at the bottom. cannot imagine how you could fit 45s on this. Unless you eliminate one side peg, there is no room. You will need a bigger, more sturdy stand if you plan to hold a lot of weight, such as several 45's. However, I find that for me, at around 220 lbs divided between 25s, 10s, and 5s, it organizes well and functions.
Assembly has been quick and easy and took about 15 minutes. I also like that the tree is compact and holds my weights well. lbs) Few cons to note are that the pegs have play no matter how tight you tighten It also has a little sway when applying pressure to the sides, not the most sturdy of weight trees, and the bottom peg is skinny so, unless centered and placed perfectly, that weight will be lopsided since the peg is narrow (not Olympic size). In this price range. however, I can't complain as it does the job as intended and for the price, it's a great addition to your gym to help you store your weights. Good! I would recommend it!.
It does what it's supposed to do. In other reviews, this weight rack seems flimsy and unstable, and other critics have said it is not the best of its kind. Ok, here is what I would like to say. The Weight Rack is definitely not the best of all weight racks in terms of its strength, but it is definitely robust. I am very pleased with the way mine looks and feels. There were no missing parts with my order (I read some have received their order with missing parts for some reason) and the installation instructions were extremely easy to understand. Even so, it was not the easiest thing I managed to do it all on my own without any assistance in 45 minutes. I had a difficult time. In any case, after 45 minutes, I had finally done it, but I have to say it was quite challenging. You have to hold both the nut and the bolt at the same time while also keeping the entire device from falling apart. One of my weights racks has the ability to hold all of my weights at once. This has made my room look cleaner, and I believe that is what matters most.
Well worth the money spent.
The design of the product is poor. It was not necessary to drill all the way through the holes. It was disappointing to find out that the support website was not active. I was unable to take it apart because of the poor quality hardware. I'm not able to return it because it can't be fixed. In the end, I have a feeble, fragile mess that I cannot work with.
With my new weight bench and rack, and the weights for my strength training program, I found that the only 2 plates holders provided with the rack were oriented inconveniently and not enough to hold the weights. bought this for a very reasonable price, and have been extremely pleased with the finish on the pieces, the good fit that made assembly easy, with the hardware in a cardboard blister pack, numbered, hardware allen keys provided (you provide crescent wrenches), and an After 20 minutes of assembly, I was done. I like this rack because it is sturdy enough to hold all my plates (195lbs are shown in the picture, I have 30lbs more on my barbell), and hanging my plates on the rack was impractical. The value for what I paid is excellent, the strength is great, so the only issues I have are the plate axles get a bit loose (but I don't worry about any of the plates falling) since they are mounted through the main frame, then only attached by a cross bar. You're fastened.
A weight rack was on my list of things to build to complement the DIY dumbbell rack I made many years ago, but I decided to get this Marcy one instead. I like the way it is designed and made, and how well the fasteners are organized and of Assembly instructions are just graphics, so you'll probably have to redo parts if you follow the instructions Once the whole assembly has been rough crafted, hand tighten all the fasteners. You will then have a better understanding of the details. Hex keys are provided in three sizes The only thing you need to hold the locking nuts as you tighten the machine screws is a crescent wrench or a decent pair of pliers. In the end, the structure is quite stable once all the fasteners are snugly tightened up. Upon loading the plates, the 5 extensions on the rear of the device wiggle a little, but they hold the plates securely. The shelf can hold 275 pounds of 1" ID plates, including multiple 50#, 25#, 10# and 5# plates without having any You should be able to count on excellent durability.
