Questions & Answers

Would you please send me a specification sheet for this? I'd like the distance between pegs and floor, as well as the length of each peg, thanks. ?

This is where I hang 25 pound plates and 50 pound plates, but not Olympic Despite the price, I think it's a good investment for the average guy who has a 3000 dollar gym at home. This is not a trick item that will make you angry when you buy it. However, it is not made of chrome with jewels.

When the nuts are tightened on to the bolts, they do not stay tight. Are there any other users experiencing the same issue? There is a problem with the stand, which makes it loose/wobbly. The gap between the top and bottom of the post is noticeable. ?

There are errors in the answers you got. There is no way that nuts can be loosened enough. A plastic "stopper" is located at one end of the threading to ensure that these nuts hold firm once fastened and do not loosen over time like normal nuts may. For this project you will have to hire a 17mm ratchet The 17mm Ratcheting Wrench can be found by searching online. If you use the ratchet side (the closed circle side), not the open crescent side, with a little more pressure, you can get the nut all the way on there very It occurred to me just yesterday that I should put mine together in the same way There was a reason why the nut would not go all the way on. There was just no right tool for the job.

Do you think this would work with curling plates?

It isn't clear what you're talking about, but since there isn't such a thing as an Olympic plate, I assume that you're using Olympic plates. They, of course, are two inches thick but much larger, and much lighter than curling plates. Hole size of two inches instead of one inch Measured in inches. You might be able to put Olympic plates on this tree - I do not have it. It is particularly useful if they are smaller, such as 5s, 10s, and even 25s, since the posts are angled Obviously, the plates wouldn't be quite as snug, but I think they would reliably stay in place.

Does it have pegs that measure 30" wide?

Based on the pegs, I'd estimate that the base measures 36". Triangular in shape, it is made up of three sides.

It has been suggested that Olympians use ortho plates for their 45 and 35, but i've seen a lot of questions asking if Olympian plates will You can see that they are perfectly sized for my fitness gear olympic plates (not bumpers)
5/5

I have others of the same brand, but they do not fit as well as mine. I even added my EZ bar in the middle, as another reviewer suggested. I have around 500 lbs on this rack and it works perfectly. This rack is awesome. Also, assembly took me a little over 10 minutes. The process is extremely simple.

You're getting a lot of value for your money
5/5

In a nutshell, It's a great value and it's a great weight tree. The weight I have is about 200 pounds. There are several things to do. Additionally, instead of putting the cup holder at the top of the tree, I drilled a hole at the bottom of the center plate and attached a bolt to it. With the EZ bar holder, I now have an even easier way to store my bars! It is easy to slide the bar through the top hole, and the cup holder secures the bar in place.

I bought this for the purpose of holding my Olympic weight plates in my home gym, which I set up thanks to Covid
5/5

It is sturdy and strong, with an excellent triangular design, and will work for both standard and Olympic plates. In spite of the pain of assembling it, and the fact that a big heavy piece fell on my foot while I tried to balance it and screw it together at first, I have loved using it The design is actually very nice. Due to its triangular shape and the fact that it rests on three legs at the base, this is a very stable chair, unlike so many other ones I saw on here which looked like they may fall over or roll away. I love it. Additionally, even though it is designed for standard plates, it is great for Olympic plates as well. It is just that Olympic plates have a larger opening in the center, so the pegs are a bit In any case, it makes no difference to the functionality of the tree. As of right now, there are 350 pounds of weights on this tree, and I could add more if I wanted to. Those metal beams that hold the pegs and weights do wobble when you put heavy plates on them, since they are extremely long and do not connect to any kind of supporting frame in the middle (as you can see they only connect at the top and bottom). However, the wobble has nothing to do with the sturdiness and functionality of the tree in any way. Those reviews that complain about the wobble then assign it low ratings as a result - they are being unfair. My opinion is that this is total BS. Yes, the weight does wobble a little, but it's strong otherwise. If I tried to topple it (unless I tried extremely hard to). With 350 lbs on it, it won't move and I don't think it can be tipped over. Due to its intelligent and sturdy design, I think this thing is a workhorse of a little weight tree. Thank you! I really like this product.

It is great to have a plate rack
5/5

My reviews are very neglected because I am very slack when it comes to writing them. It's not often that I write one, but I use them all the time. My intention was to write a review of this product since the day I purchased Several of them actually exist in my collection. It's great to work with them. As of today, I have 527 points. A 5-pound bag of peanuts. On each rack, there is a full load. Since I bought them in November 2013, I've been using them for 4 years and 11 months. I'm sure the manufacturer doesn't want to know, but they've been loaded down that way from the beginning. By the way, my whole setup started in November 2013. As well as that, all of my plates come with a 2 inch hole in the middle. Although my plates are loaded on the rack in a way that looks like standard type 1 inch hole exercise plates, I am unsure if it will work with them. There was a 3-way intersection on one of the There are three (3) 35 lb posts on my sides. On the top post is a plate rack, with plates loaded on top. On the middle post is an empty rack since it is too full to load plates on. One (1) 100 lb. stack is located at the bottom of the post. There is a plate resting on the ground, which is not really at rest on the post. This post is really just a safety measure to make sure the plate doesn't roll off (there's really little chance that'll happen). On the other hand, there are three The post side of my blog has three (2). The weight of 5 lbs. Atop the top post are a minimum of six (6) 5 lb. plates. A middle post is topped with a stack of three (10 Lb) plates. In addition to the bottom plates, there are two additional plates on the 2-inch posts The post side of my trailer is lined with three (3) 25 lb. trucks. I have four (4) 45 lb. plates on top of the post. On the bottom post there are the steel plates.
I may have to buy some more 45 pounds. It is possible that plates will one day be used. I'm talking about those 100 pounds. The plates are very hard to handle (if I had to do it again, I would not have bought them). Probably I won't do anything more with them than place them in front of each 100 lb weight. A plate. There is no hesitation in my mind, since I do not think these racks will be harmed in the slightest by this. These plate racks, in my opinion, are the best you can buy.

I think it works with bumper plates (sorta)
4/5

To use with bumper plates, I bought this tree. For the set up that I have with 305 pounds of weights, it appears to work, and I've done this test several times because I wasn't sure if it would. While my two year old was "helping" and distracting me, it took me approximately 30 minutes to assemble. Several of the bumpers rest on the pegs below, making them easy for curious little fingers and toes to knock them off. I like the safety claps on some of the bumpers, as some of them are resting on pegs. Due to the way the pegs were placed, I took off one star. It would be helpful if the pegs were just 1 in further apart from top to bottom so they could support the bumpers as intended and not rest on On the top row of the pegboard or on the side with only two pegs, bumpers cannot be placed adjacent to each other. As I have them set up, I can use them for bumper plates up to the maximum capacity. Here is a picture of my son hugging a rack to give you an idea of its.

The balance is a bit off
3/5

In a nutshell, The assembly is easy. The price is decent, but I think the weight is I would say that this stretches a bit. I believe the tower will eventually fall if they don't add some additional reinforcement half way up, but I can already see the bar bending, which makes me think it will eventually fail. There is no special heat treatment to make it springy, so I doubt they do that on purpose. The weight would come off for me by 50 pounds. A safety factor that is less than the maximum.

It's very nice how the top of the cabinet has a hole in the middle
4/5

It didn't seem as strong as it may be after first being put together. Due to how thin the metal is, it works Functional and sturdy, the stand serves its purpose well. It's very nice how the top of the cabinet has a hole in the middle. With the stand, you can place the cups for your weight clips (weight clips are included in the package), but you can also remove the cup or clip holders and place the bar there to help it stay I will only quibble with the fact that it has some potential to tip over if pulled (with weights on the stand). We have a 2 1/2 year old so that is a concern because she can tip over the stand. In that case, we keep it in a corner of the room with it pointing out to the side. Upon receiving the product, you will understand what I mean (this will all make sense once/if you get it). For those of you with little ones, be sure to place this in a safe area or place plates along the bottom to hold it in place. Besides that, it is one of the most useful pieces of equipment you can own.
