It's been a long time since you asked, but my son is a toe walker and the doctor who sees him recommended we get him a slant board. So yes, that would be helpful for him. According to his doctor, it will stretch the tendon at his ankles, which is why it would be beneficial. If you have a toe walker, you are already aware of this fact. Children that walk on their toes cause their ankle tendons to become tight and they may have to undergo surgery if the problem is not fixed while they are young.
There will be no slipping. Then I place it in front of the wall or cabinet so I can lie on my back.
The question you pose is intriguing. It is impossible to see how that would happen.
It's high enough that you can stand up on it, and I believe it can support up to 300 lbs. Although standing can be a bit awkward,

Moreover, I have plantar fasciitis and weigh 175 pounds I am 6'1" and weigh 175 pounds. The soles of my feet are constantly hurting. As a result, I was really happy when I received it. My order arrived in two pieces because the shipping was mistakenly handled. Please note The following is what I have experienced As I stood on the board on day one, I felt some relief from my foot pain because the stretching on my feet felt great. In the second day, after standing on the board for a short time, there was an explosive snap and the board fell. It turned out that the metal bar under the slanted board had broken After I opened the second board and felt the same thing, I waited a bit, then opened the second board and my back hurt once again There was a metal bar missing from the board, so it flattened out. There were the same problems on both boards, which I found incredible. In spite of my efforts, I did not find these board(s) to be effective for me. As a result, I ended up with a terribly compensated for the work I did? The following cons are associated with pain and discomfort 1) The metal bar detached while I was standing on the boards
2) The board wobbled somewhat making it difficult to get on it
3) The 2 screws on the board were loose
4) The metal buttons on the slant board came loose. Whether it needs to be repaired or not is simply a matter of adding *I have attached photos for your viewing pleasure. In the future, I hope to have a better experience with other buyers.
This lightweight slant board is much lighter than a wooden slant board I have from Thailand, which is heavy, but works effectively. It is of the same design but has better features like foam heel cushioning, and it isn't as flimsy as I expected. In addition to being stimulating to bare feet, the foot grips feel good. You can use it in the same way I do by lining it up parallel to the kitchen counter/oven and hold the handle for balance and support. Start on low Please take note When using the board, you should be standing straight, if you're not drop down to a lower setting until you are so used to that setting that you can move up.
You have to be very careful just getting on, and the base is so narrow that an average adult (and most teenagers) might end up with their knees knocking against each other or their toes sticking above.
You should really use a board like this if you are properly diagnosed and truly have planter fasciitis from the tightening of the fascia. Unfortunately, I had more pain after using it. After seeing a specialist she did a MRI and determined that my planter fasciitis is caused by inflammation, so exercise has been causing even more irritation. Exercises such as this or any other exercise can worsen the condition of your facia. You should make sure you receive a proper diagnosis.
I like that it can be adjusted. You can mount and dismount it without too much difficulty once you've mastered it. It is not high enough or deep enough to rest your heel. Other reviews notwithstanding, I find this product to be fairly sturdy - This is a used item that I purchased. If you are not steady on your feet, I would not recommend any of the adjustable ones. My preference seems to be to put it under a counter so that when mounting or dismounting I have something to hold on to. If you have never hiked to the lowest elevation, start there and work your way up. In case you get too enthusiastic out of the gate, you will quickly learn how the foot bones are connected. In addition to stretching out the targeted lower legs, hips and lower back will also be stretched out through use.
My feet had been hitting a wall for years, and I wish I had purchased one years ago instead of ramming them into the ground. Stop doing things that aren't as effective, then stop doing them. I like that this is a small and compact item that doesn't take up much room. My feet are large, and I weigh about 200 pounds, and I find that it works fine While it may not be as stable as a large fixed wooden model, it does work amazingly well if you are careful about getting on and off, and if you hold on to something. It will end up in the closet and may never be used if it is made of wood. Keeping this out is best. If I have to use it in the middle of the night, I'll get up! For my money, that's a pretty stable number. I would buy from them.
As a result of rheumatoid arthritis, poor blood circulation in my lower extremities, RLS, knee surgery, and an ankle injury, I use this every morning and every night. When your budget isn't large enough for physical therapy or massage therapy, this is the best option. It is great to see how strong your calves are.
This is the second calf stretcher I have bought As a result of sitting for long stretches during the day, I have noticed that my calves tend to get stiff, making it hard to hike (my calf muscles got stiff until I started exercising more I've been using this for a while now, and it works. A number of height adjustments are available, but I usually only use the first adjustment because it gives me an excellent stretch on my calves. During stretching, I stand for a few minutes stretching one calf, then switching to the other. So far, it has done a good job.
