Questions & Answers
When folded, the chair weighs about 25 pounds and measures 33 inches in length. You could carry it with one hand, but it's easier over your shoulder, and you could take it to the beach, but it might not stay upright if it's windy.
Although it appears to be a four-seater, I purchased a six-seater for my daughter's travel soccer team. It performs admirably. The screws start to fall out if heavy people sit on it, but overall, I'm pleased with the product because it has backs!
Yes. It has the capacity to accommodate men.
Each seat has a weight capacity of 200 pounds.

For soccer (from 4v4 to 7v7), we required a second bench. We gave it a shot because it was 40% cheaper than the name brand (you can see the brand in pictures). br>br>The seat and back heights were the same, but the length was nearly a foot shorter. Because both have six "seats," the missing width is taken from each seat, which appears to be two inches. br>br>Our first bench, which seats 6 adults side by side, is perfect. You guys are right on top of each other. This product is suitable for seating students in middle school and younger. Some buyers may be looking for that and willing to spend $40 less on a child's bench to get it. It also doesn't unfold or fold up as smoothly as it should. It's one less thing to be annoyed about when you're packing up to move on to the next field. So there's that. Also, our carrying bag ripped when we were packing it back up. br>br>As for me, I'm going to return it and pay the extra money rather than having one high-quality bench and one lower-quality bench.
This is for my son's U6 soccer team, and I bought it for him. If you're a soccer parent, you've probably seen fields without player benches (or parent stands). On a grassy field, this isn't usually a problem. If it's not raining, of course. With 14 boys running back and forth for an hour, those fields quickly become a swampy mess. There's also the matter of turf fields to consider. In general, those are a pain. On a nice day, it's scratchy; on a hot day, it's melting. In addition, turf gravel (I'm not sure what it's called) gets all over the place. br>br>After dealing with the above for a few seasons, I decided to buy a bench. This bench is not one of them. I chose the one with no back because I thought it would be easier to transport to and from fields. It worked for the first season, but by the second, it had fallen apart. br>br>I went to the usual suspects: Walmart, Academy, Dicks, and Amazon, where I discovered this one. It was actually less expensive than the backless one I had first bought. I can't tell if I've gained or lost weight. The bench is extremely simple to fold and comes with a sturdy carrying bag. We're almost done with our first season with the new bench, and it's been great so far. I anticipate it lasting longer than the other bench, but at this price, replacing it every two years isn't a bad idea. br>br>I would recommend this item to anyone who has children who participate in outdoor sports.
So far, this has been the best purchase I've made for AYSO. br>This is our fourth year coaching our child's AYSO team, and the bench seat is a godsend now that the kids are older and bigger. Every week when we're out in the field, we get compliments and admiring remarks about this product. Throughout the game, both adults and children sit on this, and everyone feels very secure and at ease. br>Easy to assemble and disassemble, as well as to bag. br>My only wish is for it to be a little lighter - However, I understand that the product's sturdiness is a factor in its weight. So it's a wash, I guess. br>br>If you're debating whether or not to buy one of these, do it! It is well worth the effort!.
When I coach youth sports, we don't always have a bench, so I bring this out to the fields. It comfortably fits adults and, after four years, it still looks brand new. Also in excellent condition is the carrying bag. When I set this up under my canopy for cookouts, I even get compliments on it. While I was camping, someone approached me and inquired about where they could obtain one. It's so satisfying to take this out and hold one end while throwing it out in one motion like a boss! It's a hit with the kids, and I'll buy another if it ever goes out of style. It's been used by at least six different teams, so I'm not exaggerating when I say BUY THIS!.
update: I'm in desperate need of a replacement. Another coach had the Quickgoal brand, which was of similar quality but cost twice as much. So, I'm going to buy it again because it's half the price and I don't see any other viable alternatives. Uhgggg. br>___________________br>I am so dissatisfied with the quality of this that it began to show wear after only a few games (with 9-year-olds). br>After the season was over, I went through the process of gluing new caps on the back rest posts, sewing each one back in place, and replacing screws on the back posts. Every one of my sew jobs punctured again after the first game of the season (apparently as a result of my sew job, but also due to the extreme stress on the canvas). Also, one of the seat's corners had popped off, so I glued the screw back into the insert that held it in place. br>In addition, the bag in which it is kept is completely ripped down the side. I sewed it back together, and it now appears to be holding. br>br>It's a shame it only lasted one season, with 60-minute episodes. Girls weighing in at 70 pounds.
br>br>This guy has made it through two seasons and still looks great! The seat spacing is ideal; it could easily accommodate adults, and the carrying case or bag is also very nice. It folds out and up quickly and tucks away easily in its pouch, believe it or not. In terms of weight, it's almost light enough to be carried by my 5-year-old daughter! (It's just that she's not quite tall enough yet:) ))br>br>Don't be afraid to buy this bench! Definitely the best value for money!.
Wow, I've got to say, it's pretty incredible. Great canvas material, and I can't believe this massive 6 seater, which can comfortably seat a normal-sized adult (I'm 5'8), folds down into a manageable bag. br>br>I believe that this is an excellent portable sports bench for both camping and sporting events. I bought it to go with another foldable plastic and metal bench for our daughter's U12 soccer team. There are 12 girls in total, so this and the other one should suffice. br>br>The only question is whether or not it will stand the test of time and for how long. I'll update this review when it falls apart, but for now, it's a 5 star product that's a great value at under $60 including shipping and tax.
