Valor Fitness Olympic Weight Bench Press Station with Adjustable Safety Catch and Spotter Stand for Home Gym Workout

Update: I thought I'd update this review to reflect the fact that I purchased this Bench with some defective parts when it first arrived; I have not heard back from these people at Valor Athletics to make things right with me, despite the fact that replacement parts were sent to me that were defective/used looking. For some reason, I couldn't post the pictures when I first published this review, but I came across them today and decided to share them with you. These are photos of the replacement parts that were sent to me to replace the ones that were defective in the initial shipment. One of the many holes in the seat can be seen in the first photo. The second image shows a crookedly welded front foot (both the original and replacement were crooked). The third image is a substitute for one of the feet they sent me. This was also the case with some of the other feet. With the junk they sent me to replace the defective stuff they originally sent me, I felt completely disrespected. I'd upload more photos, but for some reason, if I upload more than three, my review isn't displayed. br>br>Unfortunately, I've been stuck with this pricey, used-looking bench ever since. br>br>I am unable to recommend a company that treated me in this manner. br>br>Best wishes. br>br>(Original Review)br>This bench was damaged when it arrived. Because of the damage that came with it, it looks awful and used. A smashed cap can be found on one of the arms. The paint on the other arm is heavily scratched. A crooked foot is found on the main frame. The bench pad had shoddy stitching (extra holes were created as a result of someone/something stitching it incorrectly)- This is not something that can be tolerated in any way. Would you mind if a car seat had poor stitching, for example? Would you exchange a pair of pants with a faulty stitching? br>br>In the box, there was a note stating that if there were any problems, they should contact them via email or phone. That's what I did, and they sent me new parts, as I previously stated. The "new" pad, on the other hand, appears to be more worn and damaged than the one I currently have, and the foot on the "new" main frame is still as crooked as the one I originally received. For the scratches on my arm, they didn't even bother to send me anything. They sent me some new rubber feet in the mail. One of the feet appears to have been chewed by a dog. It's bad to the point of being offensive. Finally, the plastic cap that came in a ziplock bag was the only item they sent me that wasn't damaged. This bench is unsightly and does not appear to be worth $350. This bench appears to be used and poorly constructed to me. The producer is Because it's been over 30 days since I bought it, the seller is done with me and doesn't want to bother making things right- despite the fact that I contacted the email address listed on the cover of the installation manual 13 days after receiving the bench- That's how I came across the replacement parts in the first place. br>br>That was my experience with this product, and I am not pleased with it at all. br>br>Warm regards,br>Hello?.

I'm really pleased with what I got this time. On the unit I received, the welds were neatly done, and the paint job was also excellent. br>The spotter stand is a sturdy metal structure that will support all of you big boys. This looks like it belongs in a high-end gym. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that whoever created this was concerned about their work and did it correctly. br>br>Affordable Pricebr>If you compare this bench to others in this price range on Amazon, it should come out on top or close to the top. Metal squared pieces are used to construct the structure. This isn't going to be twisted, bent, tipped over, or anything like that. I've already mentioned it, but generally speaking, the higher the quality, the higher the cost; however, this is high quality at a reasonable price. It's well worth it. It's simple to assemble. br>br> The title is self-explanatory. br>br>With this, you don't need a spotter for benching. br>Hey now. I used to live in Ames, Iowa, and I used to go to this gym called Ames Racquet and Fitness, which was conveniently located near the Iowa State Cyclones' campus. So I'd sit down to bench press, start to psych myself up and prepare for my workout, only to look over and see a gorgeous college girl benching more than me. That was a terrible mistake. As a result, you can now try to increase your benching weight in the comfort of your own home. Visit that gym when you're ready and can bench a reasonable amount of weight. She will not be benching more than you when you look over. There's nothing to be concerned about if you work out until you're exhausted. The adjustable stoppers will save your neck and your pride. br>br>Spotter Standbr>There is a nice stand for a spotter. Metal, sturdy, and well-placed. br>br>She's Purdy, to be sure. Isn't she the most beautiful woman you've ever seen? br>br>Con Explanationbr>br>I've read a lot of reviews on this bench, and there were a few that made me nervous. The bench was designed in such a way that when you tried to return the bar to the rest position, the top resting position was too low, and you could go over the resting position and blow out your shoulder, according to the reviews. Is this something that actually exists? br>br>Is this something that actually exists? Yes and no, to be sure. br>br>The distance between my armpit and the center of my palms is 21 inches. 5 inches. When I'm laying down on the bench with the bar in my hands, I can't get it into the top slot unless I lift my back off the padding. So, in a normal benching situation, I'd never go near that top position and be perfectly safe. br>br>Now, if my arms were longer, I could see how this would be a major issue, but I'm guessing they'd have to be at least 5 inches longer to be a real issue. So, that brings us to the end of the story. This bench is fantastic; it is of excellent quality, and I will purchase from Valor Athletics again.

This bench is fantastic. br>br>You'll need to lengthen your arms because the top striker plate is too high, and you could easily overshoot and injure yourself. Remove the striker plates and take them to your local machine shop to have a long (18") steel back plate with holes drilled to match the holes in the supplied plate cut. FOUR bolts should be ordered from a hardware store. 1/2-inch flat head Because these aren't readily available in the area, I went with a 13x4" size. br>br>In addition, when doing flies, you must remove the spotter parts or your radius/ulnas may be broken. Because those parts are screwed on, it would be nice if they were easier to remove. They're easy to put on, but they're also simple to take off. Nothing is perfect. br>br>.

First and foremost, I'd like to state. THANK YOU for taking the time to read the feedback from your customers. The bar now has three racks, the top rack has been relocated for safety, and the spotter's step is now a heavy, sturdy step. This bench was just delivered to me this morning. Quick shipping! Nothing was damaged during the installation, and it was simple to put together. I'm so glad I went ahead and bought it. It is VALUE FOR MONEY. Thank you very much! Finally, I found a bench that is comparable to those found in commercial gyms.
