Is the bench able to both incline and decelerate?

It declines, but I'm not sure it's designed for that because you have to remove the support. br>br>I use it for hamstring curls on the mild decline, but that's it.

Is it possible to adjust the bar holders so that shorter people can rack after benching without difficulty while laying flat?

The arms, yes, can be adjusted. However, an olympic bar provides the best fit.

Is a 56-inch bar suitable for this project? Is it better if I just get a 72-inch TV?

No, a 56'' wouldn't fit. I used to own a 5-foot (60-inch) bar that was about 3-foot tall when I sold it. I had to get a 6 footer because it was 4 inches too small.

Does it allow you to do squats?

For a variety of reasons, the answer is no. The uprights cannot be turned around, despite the fact that the bar is 46 1/2" H, which is debatably low. As a result, the bar would have to be lifted over the uprights' backs. If you back up to the bench, the cross bar that holds the uprights will hit the back of your ankles, and the inclined bench will jab your back. If you approach it face first, the cross bar that holds the uprights will hit the back of your ankles and the inclined bench will jab your back. If you approach the bar from the front, the inclined bench will jab your chest as you try to get underneath it. Personally, I would not try to do squats on this bench. Thanks.

I put 200 pounds on the bench bars, and after my set, the bar wobbled back and forth, and I was afraid it would break off and decapitate me. Oh, my goodness! I promptly repackaged it and returned it to the sender. Also, don't bother with the warranty because you'll have to pay for shipping, which will be more expensive than the machine!.

The package was in good condition when it arrived. The assembly instructions were easy to understand and follow, and the fasteners were vacuum-sealed. the package is sealed and clearly labeled It took about 90 minutes to put everything together, but I wasn't in a hurry. I used the socket set and Allen wrenches that came with the kit and had no problems. br>br>The bench is extremely sturdy. It has a 600-pound weight capacity. I'm a big guy, and the first time I used it, I had nearly 500 pounds on it between me and the barbell, and it felt rock solid. My feet don't reach the floor when the seat back is flat, and I'm 5'10". I was able to get a firm footing in the first incline position, which is ideal for me. The uprights were firm and did not sway. The leg developer was not attached. br>br>I'm very pleased with this bench, and it's a great deal for the money. br>br>(UPDATE) Due to the incline positions, I've taken a star off the bench after using it several times. Because you have to reach behind the bar to unrack it, the second incline (approximately 45 degrees) has limited utility. With a heavy bar, this is difficult to do and may result in injury.

br>br>First and foremost, the product arrived in perfect condition, on time, and without any damage or missing parts. br>br>I completed the bench assembly in about 30 minutes by myself, taking my time and labeling all of the hardware on a cardboard and plastic wrapped sheet. The figures were easy to read and understand. The assembly instructions are very simple to follow, which was a pleasant surprise! Tools are included with the hardware, but a crescent wrench is required to properly secure the locking nuts. When it comes to attaching the cushions to the bench, a nut driver comes in handy. Overall, putting this together was a breeze, and I did it all by myself. A second person can help balance things out while you attach them if you aren't very mechanically inclined. br>br>After completing the bench's assembly, I had a few reservations based on the other reviews: 1. br>br> The leg extension portion of the device is not easily detachable. It is held in place by a nylon lock nut that must be unscrewed in order to be removed. The mount will remain stuck up after you remove it, and it will not come off. I'm sure it could be modified to accept a pin, but I don't think it would make much of a difference with the mount still in place. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The bench did not lay flat, according to some of the other reviews. Mine did. I used a level on it, and it also indicated that it was flat. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. It was a shaky bench. The bar rack felt a little wobbly after I placed an empty 7' Olympic bar on it. I began to gain weight after that. The wobble vanished as soon as I added weight to the bar. 4. br>br> The seat was uneven and thin. I also put the seat to the test in terms of its stability. I loaded the bar with 205 pounds and cranked out three sets, and the bench felt perfectly stable. It didn't feel like the cushion was too thin. It was very relaxing! br>br>As for the rest of the comments: br>I would suggest using a 7' bar at the very least. Here's the new version! br>br> Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay. When I'm doing press-ups, I still prefer the bench's stability. The leg attachment on the other hand is 100% useless! The bench will come off the ground if the extension is increased by more than 50 pounds. If you put 100 pounds on it, you'll either need someone to hold it down or you'll need to use weights to keep the bar on it. This should not be used as a hard core leg trainer! br>br>As for the bench, I think it's an excellent entry-level product at a reasonable price. If you're already benching more than 250 pounds on a regular basis, consider taking it up a notch!.

The good: It was simple to put together and is quite sturdy. Everything was contained within the box: There are no pieces missing! The posts and seat can be easily adjusted. I thought the leg developer was a gimmick at first, but it's one of my favorite features! It gets a lot of use in my house. The Olympic adapter has a set screw to keep it in place; The seat can be adjusted for a gentle decline, which is a nice touch. br>br>The bad: When you have multiple 45s on each side of your bar, the posts flex quite a bit. With no weights on your bar, put too much weight on the leg developer's post, and the whole thing will fall forward, causing the seat to jump from 45 degrees to straight up: There should be a third stop in between those two! The most serious issue I have is that the seat is far too short! I'm not particularly tall, and it's difficult for me to do dumbbell flys without hitting the posts every now and then; It's impossible for a 6-footer to do anything but bench on this. You can't get your butt to the bottom edge of the seat because the leg developer's bracket is sticking up at the end. It's also easy to nearly neuter yourself if you sit down with a couple of 60s and forget about the bracket.

It took me about an hour to put this bench together. It went together smoothly until I went to put the back piece on and the holes were very off, so I had to work around it. The back and seat are made of thin plywood with inserts, and they started to split almost immediately. The back adjustment bar was bent incorrectly when it arrived, so I had to adjust it to allow the bench to be adjusted, and the bar, along with the back support, bent after less than 2 seconds of use. I'm 200 pounds, so I only put 100 pounds on the bench for a test run to see how it felt. It's supposed to be rated for 600 pounds, but I wouldn't trust it with more than 250 pounds combined weight, and the description clearly says competitor Olympic bench. This has left me extremely dissatisfied, but it just goes to show that you get what you pay for. In less than an hour, it was assembled and discarded. I'd rather spend the extra money on something more worthwhile than this.
