My overall impression of this bench is that it's really nice. My current bench is much more comfortable than the one I used to use at CAP. In my opinion, the quality of this product is quite acceptable considering the price. I can use it to curl and extend my legs with it. I use this bench in my home gym with great success. Although I have taken note of the excellent reviews of the protruding nut and the tendency for the bench to become unstable. Even so, I still went with this bench because of its lower cost as compared with others. So I bought a 10" long flat bar from Lowe's, drilled a 1/2 inch hole through it, painted the surface black and bolted it The instability issue has been solved with a simple fix. The nut can also be solved with a bolt head cap placed on top. I found one at home depot and applied it. At Lowe's or other hardware stores, it is possible to find the bolt head cap. As you can see in the photos, I used one from a dumbbell stand. It is fair to say that while I do like this bench, I have to take off a star since I had to go to Lowe's for the flat bar and then locate My opinion is that Marcy needs to take note of and act upon two simple, inexpensive, and necessary safety fixes as soon as possible. As for the bench itself, I am very happy with it.
