Questions & Answers
I haven't tried box jumps on it yet, but there's no reason why you couldn't. It has a good amount of strength to it. I'm around 190 pounds and have benched up to 245 pounds with no problems after a few months of use (at least three times per week).
The bench measures 42 inches in length.
I'm over 300 pounds, and it's perfectly capable of supporting my weight.
12 x 42 inches is the size of the pad.

Maybe it's a forgery? Today, this bench arrived with a long list of grievances. br>As soon as I opened the box, I noticed that there was a lot of rust on the product, like all over it. smh! Fortunately, the majority of it washed away with a damp rag, but there are a few spots near the welding that appear to be permanently rusted. br>Speaking of welding. It's not great, but I suppose I shouldn't expect smooth seamless welding for $50. br>The plastic end caps (for the two metal beams in contact with the floor) were either broken or loosely fitted, allowing them to easily fall out. Only one person is allowed to stay. The stitching on the padded bench appears to be coming undone in a few places. One of the seams where two pieces of fabric meet appears to have never been stitched. br>These issues lead me to believe that this is a knockoff, with low-quality materials and workmanship to account for the rust, amateur welding, and shoddy workmanship. plastic caps that fit perfectly So I went to fakespot. com to see what I could find. This listing received a D grade on com. Only 30% of the reviews were considered trustworthy and the reviews showed evidence of “high deception”
The seller page appears to be legit but my god% If you are CAP Barbell, I have serious doubts about whether or not your product is genuine. This is an issue. br>It was a disappointing first CAP purchase, and it may be my last, but I blame myself for thinking I could get a good bench for $50. br>To sum it up, the bench appears to be well-made. (Not 1,250 pounds sturdy, as the ad claims; they only recommend up to 500 pounds)br>I'm hoping it holds up, but we'll see.
The anchor holes on the bench were misaligned when it arrived, making it impossible to assemble. There is no one on the other end of the phone when you call the customer service line. Very let down.
For well over a year, we've been putting this bench to a lot of use—a lot of step-ups. We searched for a bench that wouldn't topple over on us for quite some time. This is exactly what I was looking for! It's also easy on the back and appears to be reasonably priced. Despite the fact that it is constantly worn with gym shoes, there has been no tearing or cosmetic damage.
This bench, in my opinion, has no flaws and is strong enough for most people. I'm 6'0" and weigh 200 pounds, with a max bench press of 295 pounds. I bench 235 pounds on a regular basis and have maxed out on it a few times. It appeared to be in good working order and was stable. I bought it because I needed something cheap at the time, and my adjustable bench was a little too high for the flat bench press. However, I can see it being a problem for people who are taller than 6'4". It's quite short; I'd prefer something a little more substantial, but I don't believe there are any safety concerns; it feels fine.
It is not flimsy or poorly constructed. The bench padding is thick and more than adequate for heavy guys, and it's solid and simple to put together. Bonus! Don't bother with cheap, less durable models; it doubles as a keyboard bench and fits perfectly between my keyboard stand. It took 1 hour to unpack, assemble, and clean up. This is an absolute must-have in any home. In my gym, this is a high-quality piece of equipment. *****.
The bench itself is quite sturdy and a great deal. It comes together quickly and easily, and it appears to last for years if not exposed to the elements. br>br>The only criticism I have is that the plastic leg end caps are a little loose. To give it some thickness and keep the caps in place, I wrapped some black electrical tape around the part that inserts into the metal ends of the legs, but this seems like an inelegant solution to something that shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.
I tried doing floor presses with my dumbbells, but they weren't quite up to the task. br>br>It was fairly simple to set up. I've had it for over a month and it's still going strong. When I walk across the room, the plywood on one side creaks. It does not, however, imply a lack of durability. I don't have any feelings of insecurity. I do chest presses with two 50-pound dumbbells. br>br>I'm hoping this lasts at least a year. I'll keep this review up to date if anything changes. The bench, on the other hand, is something I strongly recommend.
Excellent value for money. Over-the-top, solid sized hex bolts (total of 18 with hex key included). Overstitched thick heavy-duty vinyl with a light pebbled texture. The assembly time is 5 minutes. It's just right to use foam padding. not too skinny to the point of feeling like you're sitting/lying on a plank; not too squishy so you slush around while working out The *only* issue is that the packaging that held the bolts broke during shipping, resulting in loose bolts in the box. However, the box itself is sturdy, with thick cardboard and strapping, ensuring that no bolts are lost.
