Selected User Reviews For Body-Solid SBL460P4 Free-Weight Leverage Gym with Squat Attachment and Olympic Leverage Flat Incline Decline Bench
The customer service is outstanding. This gym is one of my favorites. It's made of high-quality materials. There are no flaws or bad welds that I've discovered, so it's completely sound. The stations are smooth, and the levers are secure, but the lift requires some balancing. The squat station is one of my favorites. The bench press/shoulder press/tricep extension is a very versatile exercise that easily transitions between stages. The only drawback is that putting it together takes a long time. I'd say it took me about 12 hours in total, but that's because I was also watching NCAA March Madness games on TV, so it's not an accurate time estimate. I'm moderately handy but not a pro, and it was relatively simple to put together. I was hesitant because of the price, but I am extremely pleased with the results. My daughter has even started lifting weights with me. It takes up some room, but considering the 25 strength training exercises it can perform, it has a relatively small footprint. Customer service provided me with a more detailed list of the exercises, which was mailed to my door in two days. Customer service is outstanding.
It's sturdy and well-made, and it's loaded with 600 pounds of weights. When in use, it is very smooth. It is highly recommended. This gym is one of my favorites.
I believe this was a wise decision, and the quality and ease of use have exceeded my expectations. br>The squat machine is a great setup, and everyone who has tried it has raved about it. br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>Br>.
Directions are insufficient. A few of the pieces have rust on them right out of the box. The joints make a squeaking noise.
I received this equipment on a Friday and was able to put it together on Sunday night in time for use. I'd say it'll take you about 6 hours in total, and you'll need a socket wrench. Everything was very simple to put together; the most difficult part is putting together the main frame, which you will most likely need help with. br>br>Now, back to the product: all of the parts move smoothly and quietly. It's ideal for late-night workouts. I'm 6'4'' and had some difficulty with the leg extension because my legs were a little too long for the machine. It wouldn't be an issue if I were a half-inch shorter. Although the Preacher curl isn't the best, the bench is extremely comfortable and can be used with dumbbells with ease. Allow yourself a week to familiarize yourself with the tools. You should schedule your workouts so that you don't have to switch grips and handles all of the time. The machine's small size allows for quick and intense workouts. br>br>I would recommend this product, as well as all Body Solid products. The steel is extremely thick, and once put together, this thing will not move.
This item was bought to serve as a station in a small weight-training facility. There is enough space for students in junior high and high school. The padding on the unit, as well as all parts, bearings, and other components, appear to be very sturdy, and should hold up to regular use very well. br>br>The main reason I'm leaving this review is because of the customer service; there were a few minor snags, such as two small pivot shafts missing and the bench pad insert missing its threads. I was on the phone with a representative in less than two minutes (mostly waiting while the automated system directed you to Customer Service), and the parts were on their way in less than ten minutes. The procedure could not have been simpler, and the customer service representative could not have been more helpful.
This is a sturdy piece of gear! It's durable enough to be used in a light commercial setting. At least six times a week, I use it!.
The padding is also of excellent quality. The only thing that could be better is the triceps extension strap they provide. I swapped it out for a steel v-shaped v-shaped v-shaped v-shaped v Customer service is excellent, as I've called twice to request replacement parts for small plastic end caps that were damaged during shipping and assembly. When looking for a home gym, I always advise people to check out BODY SOLID. Thank you to everyone at Body Solid, particularly the design engineers, for making me a lifelong customer.
