With this groundbreaking product, God has blessed humanity, and I am no longer a fat slob.
My opinion is based on my personal experience with this product, which I purchased in March of 2020. A metal tab that slides into a hole serves as the locking mechanism. The tab is roughly 1/2 inch in diameter. You rely on that to keep your weight in check. I was bench pressing dumbbells two weeks ago when the tab slipped out and the bench sank as I lowered the weights. The total weight was significantly less than the maximum allowable. My neck is in excruciating pain today, so I'm lying on the floor with a cervical pillow. Tomorrow is the first day of physical therapy for me. Please spend the extra cash on something with a more secure locking mechanism. It's not worth taking a chance on this bench.
Although it is a nice weight bench, it is not practical. I'm 6ft 3in tall and 250 pounds, so I'm a pretty solid guy. I really wanted to start bulking up and lifting weights again, but this bench only allows for 300 pounds of weight! I can't lift more than 25 pounds in each hand while laying on this bench because I risk injury or death if it breaks. This serves no purpose. Make an effort to save money by conducting research. I wish I'd been more alert. There are much better benches with 800lb weight limits available for around the same price. This bench appears to be attractive, but it can only support 300 pounds at most.
This is a fantastic little weight bench that isn't too expensive. Although basic hand tools made assembly simple, grab something ratcheting (a box wrench or a socket wrench) to make the job go faster. The bench seat is comfortable and, as you can see from the photos, very versatile; I haven't tried it for declines yet, but it's nice to know it'll be there when I need it. br>Contrary to the opinions of other reviewers, I find this bench to be extremely stable. I'm 5' 8" and 225 pounds, and I can sit on this bench with weights in my hands and shake side to side without moving the bench. That's how firmly it's rooted. Finally, this bench's ability to fold (not flat, but flatish?) is a big plus. ) in order to save space. As you can see in the picture, it fits perfectly in the empty space between the treadmill and the wall.
This one should be avoided at all costs; it is dangerous to your health. Review has been updated. 10/11/2021br>br>Today, I was doing a lying dumbbell triceps extension exercise and the backrest fell/declined all the way back as the end of the metal incline support came off the opening/slot that keeps the backrest in place during the arm extension sequence of the exercise. br>br>I've been experiencing some lower back pain, and I'm hoping it's nothing serious. br>br>The metal incline support end that is supposed to keep the backrest in place is shown in the second photo I attached. Now that I look at it, I see that it's too short to keep the backrest in place in the slot. br>br>Get rid of this bench and replace it with one of higher quality. Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>Original Review: br>br>O What could possibly be better? br>br> Is it worth it for the price?br>br> It isn't perfect, but it isn't terrible either. It accomplishes its goal and is, in my opinion, cost-effective. br>br>The package was in perfect condition when it arrived. The pieces were all in place. It took me around 40 minutes to complete the assembly. It's not difficult to put together, but there are a lot of parts. br>br>Because I weigh around 145 pounds, this bench is ideal for me. It has the capacity to support my weight as well as the weight I'm lifting. br>br>One thing that irritates me is the poor quality of the material used on the back side of the seat and back cushions - They're low-cost, and they're a good deal. Materials stapled into place (as shown in the photo). But, given the price, I believe it is reasonable. Overall, I continue to recommend. br>br>.
If I had to come up with a gripe, I would say that the back adjustment uses a metal rod that slips into slots to.
The budget is met while maintaining quality. This bench was purchased because it appeared to be a nice setup at a reasonable price, and I believe many others did as well. Its performance has left me completely satisfied. It took about 30 minutes to put everything together (though it was a little easier with two people). The pieces were clearly labeled and easy to locate. I'm about 207 pounds and use between 25 and 30 ounces of alcohol per day. Weights weighing 75 pounds. It's never made me feel as if it's going to abandon me. The leg pads are thick and cushioned. Folding and storing is simple. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that the gap between the top and bottom seats when flat is a little too wide (for me). It's probably due to the adjustable design. If you're on a tight budget, this is a good option.
When I went to put this together, I discovered that not only do the Bolts have an internal stopper that prevents the long screws from going all the way through, but they also have a stopper on the outside that prevents the long screws from going all the way through. causing looseness in all the wrong places, such as the seating hinge that connects to the seat's back. I looked closer and noticed that the quality is not what it appears to be in the photos. The backseat upholstery is filthy. I'm not at all comfortable sitting on this. The back's six position setting is terrible because the spaces are too far apart. I can't believe I paid so much for something that makes so much noise when I sit down. I can hear how sloppy and low-quality this product is. After being duped into purchasing this safety hazard, I would like a refund; this is not the place to cut corners, especially when it comes to safety, which is why I purchased a bench in the first place. EQUIPMENT THAT IS NOT STABLE.
