I needed a second bench for my cable machine, and I've always been pleased with Marcy products. I considered some more expensive benches, but I needed something simple and non-complicated. I received the box from Amazon in perfect condition in less than two days. br>br>On our porch, where the box had been left, I assembled the bench in about 15 minutes. It's incredibly simple to put together. I've put a lot of stress on it by bench pressing, using it as a pullup support, and just kneeling/leaning on it in general. My only complaint is that when I scoot the bench around, the plastic endcaps that attach to the legs occasionally pop out. To keep them in place, I'm just going to use some Gorilla glue. br>br>Overall, I prefer this low-cost bench to the more expensive models. Simple to put together, with strong welds.

This one is actually better than the one I use at the gym on a regular basis. That's how good it really is. It was simple to put together, with clear instructions, and it was actually larger than the picture suggested, which is a good thing! I almost spent twice as much on another one because it appeared to be larger. I'm glad I didn't make that mistake. It has excellent padding, is extremely comfortable, and is extremely durable. I use these benches for hardcore workouts involving a lot of weight and pressure, so this is ideal!! I'm really looking forward to doing some good home workouts!.
My purchase has pleased me greatly. I was skeptical, as were many others, until I received it, unboxed it, and assembled it. It's not difficult to put together, but you'll need an Allen wrench. I've been to a lot of gyms and worked out there. I've seen benches that are more expensive, heavier, and so on, but this is all you need for your personal use at home. The bench feels solid and isn't wobbly, which makes it ideal for personal home workouts. The quality of everything you buy is determined by its price. This is a great bench for the money, and I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. I've spent a lot of money on dumbbells, so I needed to save a few bucks here. I am completely satisfied. Yes, I think this is a good purchase. I'm not a paid spokesperson; I'm just a regular guy who's trying to set up a home gym.
BowFlex free weights are a great match. This is a very sturdy weight bench that also looks fantastic. It goes well with our Red Black BowFlex free weights. We chose this weight bench over the others because of its maximum weight capacity and sturdy-looking (and actually sturdy) base. Even on carpet, the bench appears to be quite sturdy. br>br>I'm 6'1", and when laying down with weights behind my head (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e skull crushers), but not to the point where I'd have to search for something more substantial. For the money, it's a good product. It's a little short on me, but I'm 6' 3" tall. It'll be fantastic. if you're less than 6 feet tall Dumbbell presses and flat flies are both possible with this sturdy bar. I no longer bench press, so I won't be able to report on that. Some people said they had trouble putting it together, but I didn't have any issues. It took 30 minutes to put everything together from the front porch. Do not tighten any of the four bolts until you have started all four when attaching the two cross bars on the legs to form the base feet, each with four bolts. This will allow for some movement and alignment of the holes.
