Pro: For someone my size and strength, assembly was simple, and I mean simple. The reason for this caveat is that the bench's main chassis is a single piece, and women or smaller men may benefit from a helping hand to lighten the load. It's a little heavy and bulky. As a guide, I'm 6' 1" and 230 lbs, and all that needs to be installed are the two cushions and the base stabilization footing. Each and every tool is provided. Dumbbell flies, both horizontal and vertical, bench press, military press, seated curls, and tricep work were all done with it. With a few minor exceptions, which I'll go over later, the system is extremely stable. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. Because it's made in China, it's made of lower-grade steel, which is standard fare. The seat cushions were just under two inches thick, but they were uncomfortable. This could be better, but since it's a Chinese product, it's unlikely to be. That being said, it is not a reason to avoid purchasing this bench. Another factor is that on military presses and seated curls, I felt the seat wiggle ever so slightly. I looked into it and discovered that the problem wasn't caused by loose bolts on the seat cushion installation, but rather by the back rest and seat hinge design. Some will undoubtedly advise you to tighten the bolt. DO NOT DO IT, as this will result in the premature collapse of that hinge joint due to excessive friction created as a result of overtorquing. I think you should just live with the wiggle because it's so minor, but only after you're sure it's not just a sagging seat cushion. The most recent criticism I have is that when configured as a flat bench, the gap between the back and seat cushions becomes quite large, about 2". When it comes to incline settings and military press position, there is almost no difference. During flat bench exercises, I roll up a small hand towel and place it in the gap. So there's no issue. Conclusion. br>br> It's as tough as it appears, but appearances aren't always indicative of material quality. I expect the seat cushions to last only a few months. The future of this bench will include padding and leather. for sure. They have a bright future ahead of them on ALL BENCHES. However, on this one, it will most likely be sooner.
Now. I'd like to be clear about something. THIS bench is perfect for me. I'm aware of its flaws, but I'm also aware that it's built on a solid foundation that can be improved as needed as existing parts wear out. br>br>I WANT TO GIVE IT A 4 STAR RATING. 5 OUT OF 5 STARS BUT THEY DON'T ALLOW IT, SO IT GETS A FOUR.

A more appealing design. Execution is better. A better deal! This is the most robust, well-designed, and reasonably priced incline I could find. br> I looked up "heavy duty incline bench" on Amazon and learned about Steel Body, Fitness Reality, Xmark, Merax, HWGNT, and Body Solid, as well as a few other brands. br>Features of this bench that I find appealing:
1. Beefy. Metal with a thick gauge. Tubing that is large and rectangular. Welds that are quite large.
2. The layout is excellent. For the back and seat adjuster, a real welded frame was used. Deracy has taken into account the enormous leverage that the back creates as a result of the adjuster's placement, which is necessary to accommodate the various back angles. The same can be said about the chair. There's also a welded gusset brace between the two main frame rectangular tubes, which the other brands don't have.
3. It is very simple to put this together. The main frame is ready to use right out of the box. It's finished once you've attached the base, seat, and back pad.
4. This is a fantastic deal.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the condition of the bench that was delivered to me! br>How come I received two different length bolts to secure the bench to the back rear leg support, even though there are only two larger bolts provided? One was so short that I couldn't even use the washer that came with it; I had to use the lock nut instead? br>The rear support's small diameter wheels are an embarrassment! I swapped out both of them for larger-diameter wheels. Otherwise, you'll have to lift the bench three feet off the ground before the wheels engage? br>The craftsmanship on the upholstery is appalling! The upholstery isn't properly stapled. In fact, one staple in the back support area had been completely pulled out and was hanging loose. br>The shape of the front seat is incorrect. I kept the bench because it is structurally sound. br>It is not symmetrically the same from side to side? The bench's dimensions and adjustability are also appealing to me. I'm a handyman, so I'll take care of everything. br>I was extremely dissatisfied with the bench's condition when it arrived. Very poor quality! br>If you're not handy, I strongly advise you not to buy this bench because the upholstery is of poor quality. Also, with the different sizes of Bolts that were provided to me, there was a lack of attention to shipping detail.

The base is made of thick, heavy-gauge steel. The bench is stable and firm. I'm 5'10" and weigh 210 pounds. I use a 100-pound weight. At times, I'll do 20 reps with dumbbells and the bench will not budge. Very good value for money.

Seriously, if you work for this company in any management or above position, you must have ZERO pride in sending anything out the door without the necessary hardware for the customer to use the product; there are only 11 bolts to put this bench together, and you rocket scientists couldn't even get that right. The bench is in excellent condition. So, if you're into heavy lifting and, oh, actually WANT to put it together, you should probably skip this one.

This bench replaced a 26-year-old bench that was difficult to assemble due to a slew of bolts and pins, and was especially difficult to use the adjustments on while exercising. It's long past due for a refresh. This bench takes only a few minutes to put together, and adjusting it while working out is a breeze. It's heavy-duty and stout, and it's confidently stable. There are no squeaks or wiggles. It also appears to be very appealing. It does all of this while taking up very little room. The padding could use a little more cushion, but it's otherwise excellent. Because of the ease of adjustments, I'm really excited to get back into lifting. It's a breeze to roll it around. It's fortunate that I came across this.

The bench is very sturdy and quite heavy, but there are some assembly issues. It's appealing to me that it's a three-foot design. When you're using it, it's completely secure. The changes are simple to make and feel safe. My only gripe is that attaching the seat to the bench frame was a challenge for me. Either the bolts are too short or the threads in the seat's bottom are too deeply embedded. I had to leave the washers off in order for the threads to catch. I'm a little concerned that it will fall off at some point.
