That's correct. The rack adjusts so that it can be raised for squats and then lowered for bench presses.
From the top of the back support to the end of the leg curl assembly, it will be 52" tall, 48" wide, and 68" deep.
Hello Eric, I'm not sure of the exact measurements, but it's two sizes. There is a sleeve that goes on to allow it to fit Olympic-sized weights; remove it and smaller-diameter weights can be used. All of my Olympic items are perfect for me.

Except for a few minor flaws, this bench would have received a 4 or 5 star rating. The good news is that the assembly instructions are simple to follow and that all of the parts are clearly labeled. I like how the bench can decline and incline, and how the locking leg extension allows it to be used as a sit-stand bench. Benching with ups and downs. Benching, military presses, and squats are all made easier with the adjustable arms. I also like the safety hooks on the bar to prevent it from flipping over when changing weights - This is a nice addition. There are two flaws: br>br>The first is: 1) The fact that it is only 2 pc is both a strength and a weakness. As you re-position the weight rack, it will fall over. While benching, rack your weights. This is a serious issue that can be solved with just a couple of 50-pound sandbags - as evidenced by my photograph. For both bags, it was less than $9. 2) The pin for adjusting the incline of the bench can be difficult to insert - even if you jiggle the bench a little to get the holes to line up better. It's common to have to bang it in with a hammer or a wrench handle.
First and foremost, I must state that I am unable to comment on the product's assembly because my father kindly assembled it for me in under an hour. This is a great option for an at-home gym, in my opinion. In my apartment, I was able to fit both. I have a 300 pound olympic weight set and have had no problems, though I am very careful when doing bench or squats and putting my bar back up, but there are simple ways to stabilize the bottom, especially if you have more space than I do. br>br>I like how the quads and hamstrings are extended. It doesn't have the same depth as the ones from the gym, but it does the job.
I got rid of my gym membership and replaced it with this to work out at home. Gyms are fantastic, but I find that exercising at home saves me time. I wanted a two-piece bench for a good price, and I like that I can pull the bench away to do squats. This also allows you to do skullcrushers separately from the bench without the uprights getting in the way. After putting it together, I discovered that it was extremely stable and sturdy. The bench has a firm but comfortable padding. The uprights are 39in apart at their inner points, allowing for a medium-wide grip. The bench's capacity, including the user, was listed as 750 pounds in the manual. On a laminated piece of cardboard, all of the nuts, bolts, and washers were clearly labeled and separated, and the assembly instructions were clear. I only used a 14 millimeter socket and a crescent wrench to put it together. It took me about an hour and a half to two hours to put it together, but I'm sure it could be done much more quickly. The next day, I went to Dick's Sporting Goods and paid 225 for a Fitness Gear 300-pound weight set. 00 (tax included). So, in terms of the bench, hardcore weight lifters might want more, but for me, it's more than enough because I'll never lift more than 300 pounds on the rack. My purchase has made me extremely happy. The Stamina 1690 Power Tower was another product I had previously purchased, so you might want to look into that as well to complete your workout. If it's available, I'd buy it exclusively from Amazon to save money on shipping. Okay, I hope this has been of assistance to you.
For the past ten months, I've had no problems with this bench. It has served me well for the past hour or so. I weighed 204 pounds and benched 210 pounds. Mid-lift, the metal tubing running along the underside of the back support bent. Because this OLYMPIC weight bench is not made of high-quality metal and is not thick enough to support weights of more than 200 pounds, I came dangerously close to losing 210 pounds on my chest. If you intend to increase your strength gains beyond this point, visit a sporting goods store and purchase a real piece of equipment. I purchased this bench because it was a good deal and I didn't want to spend $300 or $400 on one at a store. In any case, I'm going to have to buy one now.
I used a 14 mm, 12 mm socket and ratchet, as well as one adjustable (crescent) wrench. It took me about an hour to put it together. The number two appeals to me. The ability to move and change positions from bench to squat station is a key feature of this piece. The leg extension and leg curl work well; I particularly like the full range of motion on the leg curl (hamstring) that this bench provides, which is something that other bench combos lack; and the padding and covering are of high quality. For a 2-bedroom apartment, the cost was well within my means. Keep in mind that this is a home gym, not a commercial gym, so don't expect to bench 415 pounds or squat and drop it on the rack. However, if you're looking for something simple to get the job done in these COVID times, this bench combo is a good option. This bench set is one that I would recommend.
Pros: 750 pound maximum weightbr> Locking leg developer for decline bench/sit upsbr> Two pad positionsbr> Easy set-up Cons: Upbr> Sturdybr> Separate rackbr> br> A little tallbr> No wheels on benchbr> Rack has no safety catchesbr>br>We bought this bench to replace a similar bench that was only rated for 400 pounds or so. br>br> So far, this one has exceeded our expectations for the price we paid, and it appears to be very sturdy. I'm 5'5" and can reach the ground, but if I were any shorter, I'd have a hard time touching or using the leg extension/ham curl attachment. We won't use the rack very often because we have a better cage with catches, but it'll be a good backup for when my husband and I are both working out at the same time. I wouldn't feel comfortable benching with the rack by myself because it lacks safety catches, but it's sturdy and not too tippy for a standalone unit. At this price, it would be difficult to find a better bench.
He's 6 feet tall, and he claims he can fit on the bench with ease. He did mention that the seat is quite high, and that someone shorter than him might have trouble planting their feet on the floor while doing a bench press. I bought him a 7' bar, which, as you can see in the photo, is just right.
