For the most part, I'll have to say no. I'm 5'10" and I almost have to do a full squat to get under the bar and pick it up at maximum height. To pick up the bar, my girlfriend, who is 5'3, has to squat down under it. Sure, if that's not a problem for you. However, it is not secure. It's very easy to walk right past the rack.
The maximum weight capacity is 275 pounds, with a recommended user weight capacity of 180 pounds. The bar measures 37" from center to center. Thank you very much.
It doesn't come with a list of exercises to do or instructions on how to use the weight bench; instead, it comes with an assembly manual.
No, it does not include a bar.

For a long time, I've wanted to set up a home gym in my house. Let's face it, we could all benefit from more exercise. And I'm not looking for a device that will only hold laundry (you know what I'm talking about). I'll admit that I'm a beginner when it comes to working out, but I know I need something versatile that works out all of my body groups. So, what was I looking for? br>br> I needed something that was simple to use and gave me a variety of ways to exercise my body. Let's get this party started! br>br>It was relatively simple to put together. The bench's "multi tool" is a sham. With these tools, I'm sure you could put it together, but it'd be a pain in the glutes. Using my own tools, I was able to complete the bench assembly in about an hour. The construction was sturdy and secure, and the instructions were simple to follow. br>br>I've only been using this set for a few weeks, but I'm already seeing results. I use the bench press to work out my chest, and adjusting the seat and the weights' height is very simple if I need to work out different parts of my chest. CAUTION: A pair of silver safety guards keep the weights from being lifted out by accident. Before you begin your routine, make sure these latches are disengaged. br>br>There's also a pad that helps you work out your biceps with the weights at the foot of the bench. It's simple and quick to adjust the height once more. The weight rod has a capacity of approximately 8 standard weights. It also includes an Olympic buffer for heavier weights. How many people can you fit in there? Because I'm working with standard weights, I'm not sure. This review will be updated once I reach Olympic weight. br>br>I also work out my triceps, shoulders, and upper back by standing and rowing. Because the handles are so mobile, switching between sets is simple. br>br>At the foot of the bench, there are also two sets of padded fittings where you can stretch your legs. You can work out your quadriceps, or thigh muscles, by simply sitting at the end of the bench and placing your feet on the lower pads. You can stretch your hamstrings by lying on your stomach and placing the backs of your feet on the higher pads. br>br>This machine will work all of the muscles in your "beach body. " Although it isn't a complete workout system, the overall quality and results (AS LONG AS YOU WORK OUT!) are hard to beat for the price. The only thing missing is a set of instruction manuals that explain how to use each component. I know I'm on the right track because I'm seeing results, but is there anything else I could be doing differently? I'm not sure if there are any other applications for the machine. I gave this set four stars for quality, but five stars if it came with those instructions.
See pics. So it took me exactly 2 hours from the time I cut the straps on the box to the time I finished it. One 17mm socket, one 17mm wrench, one 14mm wrench, and one 13mm wrench were used. There were two missing bolts and two extras in the package, but I had the exact size bolts that were missing. I have 1" hole plates and a 6 foot bar that fits perfectly. I put three 50-pound plates on the front and a leg extension peg in the back for a total weight of 150 pounds. I think it could have held a little more. On the bench, I loaded six 50-pound plates onto my 6-foot bar, plus my 17-pound bar, for a total of 317 pounds, which, again, could have held more. Also, check out the photos.
Although some people have expressed dissatisfaction with the assembly instructions, they are actually quite simple. I was able to assemble the bench in less than two hours with the help of my son (which I didn't really need). The parts were all there and fit very well, so there were no problems with assembly. Because the tools provided are clearly inadequate, you will require a few additional tools (only spanners), which I have illustrated. The only reason I gave it four stars is that there isn't enough space between the various parts. If you're doing leg lifts, for example, you might need to take something else out to make enough room. For bench press, you'll definitely need a six-foot bar. To use this bench, you'll need approximately 8'x8' of floor space.
Overall, it's a good machine that I enjoy using. It is well-made, especially for the price. br>It does have a few minor flaws that aren't deal breakers, but they are a nuisance. - When you put the bar on the bar catch, it prevents you from adjusting the backrest; you can't just pull it up; you must at least lift the bar a little. br>br>Overall, I am pleased. I use it on a daily basis and it serves me well, but I intend to upgrade it at least a few times in the near future.
