Seeing through is not an issue for me, regardless of the color of my pants. Because they are skintight, pantylines may be visible. I ordered a second pair because I loved them so much!
So far, I've only spilled water on them, and it's soaked in.
I've only squatted in my pant for a few seconds, but it was certainly possible, and the fabric stayed put when I stood up.
They're not particularly thick, but they're not see-through, and the material is quite good, making them ideal for the gym.

When you're active, the high waist helps to keep these in place, and it also helps to pull a loose belly in a little! br>br>Because the bag stated that they should be hand washed and air dried, I waited to review them until after I had washed them. I have far too much laundry to spend that much time caring for leggings. I'm happy to report that they passed the washer and dryer tests with flying colors.
These leggings or running tights are of extremely high quality. I was worried they'd be too short when they first opened (I'm 5'10''). My other concern was that the thick band of elastic inside the waistband would be uncomfortable, but it is not-- It keeps the leggings in place over my hip bones just right. I am 5'10", 115 pounds, with a 25" waist and wide hip bones, and I ordered an xs to avoid the camel toe issue. There's still a faint outline, but I'm hoping that once I get a little more butt, it'll take care of itself. The pockets are fantastic! It's a win-win situation here. I've worn them to the gym and out to dinner with a dressy long tunic and cute flats. I've already worn them to the gym a few times and washed and dried them. I want to buy ten more because they are of such high quality! I work out with weights - Squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and all the extras - and they're ideal for the job. It was exactly what I was looking for. Squat-proof and soft at the same time. My height and weight are 5'3" and 130 pounds, respectively. A small was delivered to me. They're a little long, which I expected given my height, but they have a tight thin band at the top that digs in if you have any extra stomach "pooch," so I have to pull them all the way up to feel comfortable. I really like these, but I wish the top band was thicker or that it didn't have that band at all.
