I like halo headbands, but they tend to get sweaty when I'm working out in the heat. This seemed like a good idea at the time, but the material is thick all over the headband, and it appears to be thicker on the sides and back than it is in the front. As a result, the knot used to keep the headband in place is HUGE! That does not look good with a helmet. Because my head is larger and the pre-tied knot appeals to me, I like the idea of tying it. They are too small in size. However, the "tie" in the back should be made of a very thin and narrow material.
The texture is excellent, and the yellow blocker above the eyes performs admirably, which is ideal for hot Texas summer days spent navigating through trees and rocks. It's thick enough to absorb some sweat but not so thick that it makes wearing a helmet uncomfortable. I'm still worried that people will think I'm wearing a bandana and expect me to sing an 80s ballad, so I put on my helmet first and then my headband, which comes off with the helmet. It didn't keep me warm in the winter or get too hot in the summer, according to my observations.
Living in the humid state of Florida doesn't help matters. br>Halo bands are the only thing that has helped me keep sweat out of my eyes, face, and other areas. br>I recently purchased the new x3 version, which has a lot more surface area than the original type. new favorite of mine.
Excellent headband, I'm a man with really long hair, down to the middle of my chest, and I wear this headband with my hair slicked back and tied up and it works great, nice and thick to catch most of the sweat, no sweat in the eyes at all, and very easy to hand wash and air dry. It's a good product that's well worth the money. I've bought a lot of headbands over the years, but this is the only one that meets all of my needs. I'd buy it again, and highly recommend it, especially if you have long hair like me. This is fantastic.
Works. mostly. This band, in my opinion, performs better than most. I apparently perspire a lot. It's far superior to headbands, sweatbands, and other similar items. I believe I sweat below where the headband sits, which causes some sweat to roll down, but it's much more manageable.
When I practice kickboxing, I wear it and it works wonders at keeping sweat out of my eyes.
When tied behind your head, you must put up with a large knot. Aside from that, this sweatband was perfect for cycling in Florida.
This is an incredible product. If you sweat a lot, you'll need a Halo! It's that easy. I've had a headband and hat for a long time and wouldn't be caught dead without them. i adore my halo.
