Yes, you can wear these to the beach and/or diving, as I am a PADI Rescue Diver. They won't keep you as warm as a wetsuit, but I've worn rash guards and polypropylene gear in similar conditions in appropriate (warm) waters. It's more for sun protection than for warmth during a dive.
They aren't thermos, but they do help a little in the winter. Under sweatpants or shorts, they should be worn. Prepare to look like an idiot if you decide to wear these to the gym by yourself. These can be worn by girls and women on their own, but not by men, just saying.
Yes, it's soft and flat, and it won't slide. It also isn't able to roll. It's visible in one of the photos.
I'm 6'1" and 280 pounds, and the 2X is a little small, but it fits; a 3X would have been better, but that wasn't an option. I have Nike and UA ones, and a 2x is the perfect fit, so I'd recommend going one size up from what you're used to.

It's fantastic, and there's no awkward middle sew. Breathable and high waisted. I bought a medium because I'm 5'5" and 180 pounds, and it fits perfectly. It also does not slide down.
I bought a few pairs of compression pants: Black, black and red, blue camo, and green camo are all available in various combinations. Except for the two I just bought, I've had most of the pairs for about a year. Because I ride a motorcycle and like to have a second layer of "skin" between myself and my jeans, I wear them every day, regardless of whether I'm working out or not. They also help me ride in the winter because they block the wind. br>br>As a base layer, I can tell you that it helps keep you warm in the winter. They may not help as much as compression pants designed for cold weather, but having them is far preferable to not having them, I can assure you. These compression pants will not let you down when it comes to working out, wicking moisture, and staying cool. I live in Arizona, where the average monthly temperature is 100 degrees for five months of the year. The months of June and July are the hottest, with temperatures ranging from 115 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit. On some days, the temperature can reach 120 degrees Fahrenheit. When you wear these compression pants in the heat, it'll feel almost as if you're running/jogging/exercising without any pants on (weird, but true). In fact, I'm not sure how the technology works, but I do know that when I run, the wind passes through to my skin and feels cool, even when it's hot enough to bake cookies in my car using only the windshield and front dash (true story). These pants will definitely keep you cool when it comes to wicking moisture. br>br>In terms of quality and durability, all six of my black pairs retain their original shine, with no signs of wear. One of them has a small hole on the side of the pants, most likely due to my own mishandling, but everything else is in the same condition as when I first received it. I couldn't be happier with this product, especially given the more than reasonable price for a quality and durability that has lasted me four times as long as I had expected, and I wash all pairs at the end of the week. br>br>In terms of style, these compression pants get a lot of attention. When it came to some of the colors, I couldn't live without a matching set, so I bought some of the corresponding tops as well. br>br>Here are a few things to keep in mind. I did notice that these sizes were a little smaller than I would have expected based on the size label. Despite the fact that I could still wear them, ordering a size larger seemed to solve the problem. Again, this isn't a deal breaker, but I don't want them to be too tight on my legs to make working out uncomfortable. If the stitching is cotton, avoid washing them with anything that will cause lint balls. I washed a towel in the same load as my compression pants, and I spent the entire day pulling those lint-filled pants out. like fuzzies coming out of the compression pants' stitching.
I have a feeling they won't last long. It was a perfect fit. You appear to be in good shape. Because the material is so thin, I can tell they won't last very long or withstand tearing well. It's a good buy for the money. I'd repurchase them.
I appreciate that they're long enough for me at 6'2". The fabric is of excellent quality and is extremely breathable. When stretched too far, they do, however, become translucent. Overall, though, it was a pleasant experience.
These compression pants are a great alternative to the more expensive compression pants available from Nike, Under Armour, and other brands, and while I love those brands as well, I'm not in the mood to spend that much money on them. These compression pants are just as good as any other pair I've tried - Snug fit, full leg coverage, sun protection, and keeps you cool! I use them for both gym and yoga workouts, and they are fantastic. Their moisture wicking properties are of the highest quality and are extremely easy to maintain - They're ready to go after a quick wash and line dry. br>br>When it comes to sizing, go one size up from your usual. For example, I am 6'3" tall, 175 pounds, and have a 32-inch waist, and the large fits me perfectly. br>br>I own two pairs of these in black and gray and plan to purchase more in the future. For ~$13. If you're thinking about purchasing these, go ahead and do so; you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality.

Bottom Line: Great Base Layer Leggingsbr>br>I needed something for running when it was cold out, but I also wanted something breathable to wear under my shorts, so I decided to try these out. The fit is nice, as you can see in the photo, but I had to order a size up to ensure that I could get in and out of them without too much difficulty (as some of the reviewers mentioned). Because the leggings are so thin, I don't expect them to provide much warmth in the winter. However, I don't mind the thickness because my legs don't get too cold when I run or work out. I'm also pleased with the product's quality, particularly given the low cost ($15). After a few runs in these leggings. . . . br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
