Although I am not sure about the hidden dry, the ultralight morning shows are soft, comfortable, and wash well. Purchase both so you can compare the feel of them.
Not in the least. They are of excellent quality and will last for many washes. These socks are my favorites, so I only wear them!

My shoe size is 12 for men. These socks are far too small in the XL size. They're FAR too small, to the point of absurdity; they wouldn't even fit my wife, who wears a size 7 in women's clothing. It felt like a torture device from the Middle Ages, but it did stretch quite a bit.
