I could sell my baby camel to get a pair of Under Armour brand shorts, or I could spend a normal amount of money on these shorts, which are even better than the ones I would have to give up my camel for. I'm not in possession of a camel.
I bought six pairs because they're such a good deal and I like having choices. The length is ideal, and the fabric is extremely light (which is essential in Houston during the summer). br>br>I'm 6'1" and weigh just under 180 pounds, so medium fits me perfectly. You won't have to be concerned about showing off your "junk" if you wear supportive underwear. (I was a little concerned after reading some of the other reviews, but they fit perfectly. ) If you're in shape, these shorts will be perfect for you. It's about an inch and a half above my kneecaps in length. Warning: br>br> Light colors allow you to see through them. To match my yellow shorts, I needed to order a neon yellow boxer brief. br>br>Keys fit perfectly in the back pocket. In the front pockets, however, I would not carry anything heavy or bulky. The material is too thin, and the pockets aren't as deep as they should be. A large phone would flop about like a dog's tail. br>br>Overall, I'm a big fan of these TSLA shorts!.
br>The same size shorts from Nike and Champion fit better, are looser, and are more durable in general. In comparison to the above brands I own, these have short inner pockets, which means things like cell phones, change, and a wallet will fall out quickly!br>The crotch inseam area is also higher than the above brands, which means less room to stretch and move around comfortably. br>Flimsy, cheap, and Chinese- Stay away, because your order will be returned to Amazon the same day!.
I bought TSLA's men's compression winter base layer, which was better than any other name brand winter base layer I've owned, and I bought one for my wife as well. I also bought their rash UVA/UVB protection rash guards, which are super good and on par with or better than any of the major surf brands, and now the men's quick dry shorts. I didn't think twice about purchasing these because the products and prices I had previously purchased from this company were excellent. I'm the type of person who doesn't care about the brand name or price as long as the materials are good. These shorts are extremely comfortable and light.
First and foremost, they are extremely light and comfortable to wear. I wouldn't do a Spartan race in them, but they're fine for running. The fit is good; I'm 6 feet 210 ish, with a 34 waist, and the Large fit perfectly; I ran 8 miles in them and had no chafing. I'm not sure why there's a pocket in the small of my back; I sweat a lot and couldn't use it to hold anything while running because it would be soaked. Because of the care instructions, I was able to get a start. Only cold water should be used to wash this item, and it should be dried on the line. I bought these to work out in, and I'm only washing them in cold water because they'll stink up in a few weeks. I'm not a fan of line drying either. I would have assumed that exercise shorts would be more difficult to wear.
So I obviously didn't read the description carefully enough and didn't realize my basketball shorts would have a small butt pocket that could only hold half of my keys. I was surprised to feel the zipper at the top of my buttocks break, but they fit well and are light enough for summer workouts, so I'll just ignore it until people start berating me for it! br>br>In a nutshell: They're nice shorts, but there's a pocket above your buttocks.
I believe I've purchased these three times now (eight pairs, perhaps?). I now only wear these athletic shorts. I believe the newer ones are a little different, and perhaps the material is a little less expensive? I'm not sure, but it doesn't matter to me. I haven't tried expensive shorts because I don't feel the need to, but these are 10 times better than any other athletic shorts I own.
These were purchased for lounging around the house on days when I didn't feel like dressing up. The fit, on the other hand, is a little strange. I can get them to sit where I want them if I roll the waistband four times, but that's a lot of rolling, so I wouldn't recommend them.
