So, these are amazing gym shorts. I know that sounds strange. Because it is hot in Florida, I prefer to work out in shorts rather than pants. I also dislike tights and short shorts because they provide the same amount of coverage as a swimsuit in certain poses, and I lack a flattering barbie shape. I just want to go to the gym in some comfy shorts that can hold my phone, ID, and a key while concealing my unsightly thighs so I can work out in peace. In the "women's" section, I couldn't find anything like it. I ordered a size smaller than I normally wear in women's and they fit perfectly; they are just above my knee. I may appear a little strange, but it's great to be able to stretch and work out while still having coverage in key areas and pockets for my belongings with zippers to keep everything in place. For cushioned bicycle underwear/shorts, it's also a nice layering piece over pants.
I have three pairs now and they are great for hiking, biking, swimming, and other outdoor activities. I wouldn't wear these to the gym because the material is designed for "outdoor" use and is similar to swim trunk material. I've used these while whitewater rafting, backpacking, and biking. Water sports are undoubtedly the best use, as they are quick to dry and have zipper pockets; however, I wish the zippers closed from top to bottom. Pulling a zipper up on a side pocket is always awkward. The waist ties are good; even when washed, they do not disappear into the waist band. I like the elastic as well; it's comfortable and eliminates the need to bring a belt on trips, resulting in dry shorts and a wet belt. I wear mine baggy, which makes them a little longer, but they're still a slightly below the knee short. There was a little ride up and adjustments needed when biking and hiking, but nothing too bothersome, and a tighter fit might eliminate that issue. They'd be even better if they had a side pocket for a tool or phone. Overall, this is a great light weight short for outdoor use that has so far proven to be durable.
I bought these to wear while hiking in the 90-degree heat of Utah's Zion National Park. They were ideal, as they were extremely light and made you feel as if you weren't wearing anything at all. It's soft and stretchy. They came in a variety of colors, and I purchased them all. They also appear to be very nice!.

The tag says 5XXL (I got large) and the care tag is only in Chinese, so they're straight out of China. These have a lot of potential, and I'm excited to see what they can do. While browsing for a similar offering from Nike, Addidas, or another well-known brand, I came across these. I ordered a size larger than what was recommended for me (a 36" waist was listed as a large, but I ordered an x-large). large) is a perfect fit. I believe I found these on a list of "best travel shorts," as I was looking for something with zippers for added security while traveling. They can also be worn as a workout short. The quality, however, is subpar. Within weeks of wearing it, the waist seam began to unravel, and the R pocket developed a large hole from my phone. I'm almost at the point where I can't keep my phone in my pocket any longer. They weren't cheap, but I've previously received better quality for the same price.
This is the second time I've worn these shoes. These shorts are extremely light and quick to dry. Both pairs were well-made (everything was well-sewn, and there were no loose threads). The sizing was exactly as it should have been. These are now my all-time favorite shorts. I wear them for everything from camping to river floats to baseball practice, and they're stylish and comfortable enough to wear to any outdoor or casual event. I highly recommend these shorts, and I'm planning to purchase a third pair.
