My height is 6'1" and my weight is 162 lbs. It was a good fit for me in the medium size. I was concerned after reading other reviewers' comments about the built-in brief, but my first run in them was 14 miles, and I didn't think about the shorts at all, indicating that they were fine. The only thing I keep in the zipper pocket is my car key fob, which is fine, but I don't think I would want anything heavier in there while running. br>br>When I bought these, I wanted a cheaper alternative to the name brands, so I also bought a pair of Baleaf 5 inch shorts to compare the two. That's impossible, because the Demozu and the Baleaf are the same short, with the exception of a brand tag sewn over the fabric tag in the waistband and the name silk-blend. On the left leg (in the same spot), I was screened. Everything else is the same as before.
They had to be long enough to not ride up between my thighs while I was running. I also wanted a zipper pocket across the back waistband (not too tight, but snug enough that I wouldn't have to use a drawstring) that could fit my iPhone XR so I could carry it without having to add a running belt or risk it slamming into a front pocket. In an ideal world, I'd be able to find shorts with a built-in brief as well, reducing my layering to just one. THOSE ARE THE SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORT SHORT SHO For only $17, they fulfill every item on my wish list! They're my favorite shorts, and they're better than the ones I bought from running apparel stores for twice or three times the price. I would have bought the green if I had thought I needed it, but I am happy with the black, navy, and gray I already have. I'm almost tempted to purchase three more pairs just to have backups - Yes, I'm a big fan of them. In terms of fit, br>br> My other running shorts are all Women's Mediums, and I usually wear a size 8 in pants. I'm 5' 5" and 140 pounds, with a torso that is longer than my legs. I got the Men's Small for these and they're great!.
First, the front of the shorts has an excess of fabric that flops around and looks sloppy due to the way they are cut. Second, every guy I know wears his gym/running shorts closer to his hips than his waist, because the rise on these shorts is so high that you have to wear them close to your waist or risk a saggy crotch. This pair of shorts is being returned. I don't think it's worth your time to waste your time with them.
It's a very light and comfortable fit. My key fob easily flies out of the side pockets because they are so shallow! In addition to that. I'm not sure who thought having a pocket over your butt was a good idea, but it's THE MOST USELESS AND ANNOYING PART OF THE SHORTS! It's impossible to put anything in that stupid butt pocket and do HIIT training or even a run without being annoyed by what's inside. Sorry, but the uncomfortable butt pocket reduces the star rating to something I would have given at least a 4-star rating. What happened to the waistband's internal compartment or the simple zippered side pockets?.
All of them looked the same. Only the label changes if they claim to have a zippered back pocket. All of them had to be returned to me. They were huge and boxy in appearance. I modeled them for my wife, and I knew they were going back right away. The content was good, but there was a lot of it. I'm a 33-year-old woman. If someone wanted a very cheap knock around shorts for around the house, these could be fine, but if you plan on going for runs in areas where there are other people, go for something else. 34 waist and ordered the large, which was ok around the waist.
It's ideal for working out or just lounging around in. Great fit, soft mesh brief, and just the right length. It's perfect for working out or just lounging around in. It has a very small back pocket. So it's not the best place to keep your phone or wallet, but it's a nice addition to the product, and the side pockets are big enough for both. Even when carrying a phone, the drawstring keeps the shorts in place around your waist. I would strongly suggest it.
The one with the back pocket is extremely baggy, particularly in the front, whereas the other is more fitted. Although the fabric is slightly see-through, it is extremely comfortable. I returned the back pocket pair because they were unflattering in every way. I just wanted a pair of shorts that were a little longer, and men's shorts always come in the cutest colors and patterns.
Fits perfectly around my 34-inch waist and is suitable for a gym workout. When I compare it to my Pearl Izumi running shorts, I notice that it's slightly heavier. Probably not enough to make a difference unless it's a serious race. The advantage of this unit over the Pearl is that it has front pockets and a back zip pocket, which eliminates the need for a separate pack to carry car keys while trail running. The zippered pocket keeps car keys from getting lost while hiking.
