Questions & Answers
The shorts I have don't have a drawstring, which I appreciate because they have a good elastic band, and I frequently remove drawstrings because they get in the way or make the shorts tighter and less comfortable.
The liner is too tight on my legs - I really like these shorts, but I had to take the liner out.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe they're 5" shorts. They have a good length to them. They aren't so short that they are inconvenient to wear in public. However, because they are short, they are ideal for running. They've been enjoyable for me.
Although there is a pocket inside the waistband, it is only for the sake of comparison. It can be used to store a key or a few quarters. It's not quite big enough to fit a driver's license in.

Check out the images. I took a few pictures so that people could see how the running shorts look. There is so much variety/options for me that it can be difficult to tell at times unless I have some good visuals. The shorts, on the other hand, are fantastic, in terms of quality, fit, and overall appearance. I'm 5'10", 180 pounds, and have a 33" waist, so I ordered the medium shorts and they fit perfectly! Will definitely order again, as well as the other shorts listed on Baleaf's website, once the medium size becomes available. I don't mind the shorter sides, but I'll also order the other pair of running shorts they have, which have a slightly longer side. Baleaf, here's a suggestion: It might be better if the liner wasn't white; when you're stretching in some positions, the stark white against the navy blue shorts draws too much attention to your 'area. ' However, it is not a deal breaker for me, and I enjoy the inner pocket, which you can see in the photos. Thank you very much!.
SIZING: I have a waist measurement of 33 inches and a height of 5 feet. I'm 34 years old, and I'm wearing a medium. It is a perfect fit. There are no adjustable elastic bands, but they don't bother me because they stay in place during activity. They're also lightweight, with a key/credit card pocket on the inside. The inner mesh is soft and pleasant to the touch. highly recommended.
•••FIT: UPDATED REVIEW OF STYLE WITH DRAWCORD•••UPDATED REVIEW OF STYLE WITH DRAWCORD•••UPDATED REVIEW OF S I wear a 36W pant and L underwear. These are extremely comfortable to wear. •••MATERIAL:•••••••••••••• Stretchy and lightweight. It appears to be of long lasting quality. •••DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS: For a secure fit, the drawcord is wide and cinches well. The inner brief provides excellent support and is extremely comfortable against the skin. The key pocket measures approximately 2-inches wide by 2-inches deep. There's enough room for a fob or a large key to be tucked inside at 25 inches. •••IN THE BIGGER PICTURE: I've been wearing Soffe's 'ranger panty' for a while, and they're much better in terms of fit, material, and features (drawcord and larger key pocket).
light and airy I think these are the lightest shorts I've ever owned, and I've been running for over 30 years. The inner liner is a little loose for me, but I'm not going to blame the shorts as much as I'm going to blame my thin build. It was sturdy enough to keep the goods safe while allowing for minimal flopping. I'm 5'8" and 120 pounds, and a small fits me around the midle upper quad. The quality of the construction will be determined over time. Because the material is so light, I'm a little concerned. This also means that the wind will blow them up your quads, making them look even shorter than they are. Because it was too cold to sweat when I ran, I can't comment on moisture wicking or cling. This was an excellent purchase for the money.
Great shorts, especially if you want something a little more substantial than silkies. The ideal length, in my opinion, is just long enough to prevent chafing but not so long that it gets in the way.
I read a lot of reviews, thought about it for a while, and then decided to go ahead and buy it. I should've purchased these a long time ago. These cover all of the essentials, including the length specified, a snug mesh liner, shear wicking fabric, and a key pocket. The only thing missing is a drawstring to tighten them up, but they fit perfectly right out of the box. I prefer simple shorts with no side pockets or extra jazz, just something to cover my no-no areas and keep them from dancing around in my head while I try to win the olympics. I intend to purchase all of the colors as soon as possible.
Finding a great pair of running shorts is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow for me, as I am a long-distance runner. I decided to give these a shot for a couple of reasons: 1. They were both inexpensive and convenient. It received a lot of positive feedback. What arrived on my doorstep made me very happy - I ordered a medium and they were PERFECTLY FIT. These shorts were like running in comparable brand's shorts (i. e. , i. e. , i. e. , i. e. , i. e. , i. e. , i. e. , i. e. , i nike). If you're debating whether or not to try these, I strongly advise you to do so.
OK, I ran a 15K in these over the weekend and was very pleased with how they fit (they didn't ride up your leg). However, I will make one suggestion: wash them when you first get them. When the lower part of my shirt turned red due to bleed through from the shorts, everyone assumed I was bleeding. Aside from that, I'll be purchasing more of these because they are excellent value for money; now we'll see how long they last.
