Large. I'm 34" and the mediums are just right for me.
I'm not sure what the model was wearing, but it was a bright red, like a fire truck red, rather than a maroon or crimson.
I'm a 38, so I'm guessing XL will suffice.
I'm 30 inches around the waist and ordered a small, which fits perfectly.

I didn't think a cellphone pouch would be very useful inside the inner liner. I wasn't sure if I'd like the cotton design because I figured it'd get a lot heavier as I sweated. On both counts, I was mistaken. br>br>These are excellent shorts, and I intend to purchase more (I currently own four). As you sweat, the shorts become heavier. But it wasn't until I took them off and felt how much sweat had been absorbed that it became apparent, even after a long workout. I don't know how long it will last or how colorfast it will be at this point. I will, however, update this review if I discover a flaw. It was extremely convenient to be able to use a cellphone inside the inner liner. I never felt like it was going to fall out while running, and the pouch is large enough to hold my iPhone 11 Max with case. There are also pockets for other items, and I've always been worried about something falling out of other running shorts I've owned. The pockets on these shorts have a lot of depth, which helps to alleviate that feeling.
What a fantastic find and purchase. These are exactly what I needed. I weigh 185 pounds and stand 5'10" tall. I bought the smalls, which are very comfortable. It's suitable for both Olympic and CrossFit workouts. They're great for running because they have a pocket for your phone. br>br>I have an iPhone 11 that fits perfectly inside. br>br>I'm going to buy some more!.
These are simple 2-piece sets that are very nice. 1 shorts. The lining is soft and pleasant to the touch. I ordered a size L based on the size charts, which is much closer in size to the XL gear I have from major brands, so it runs a little big. I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future.
The shorts are well-made, and they include pockets. Unless you're just wearing them and not doing anything, they're pretty useless. The most important feature I was looking for was a built-in liner with a phone pocket. The pocket is on the right leg and is deep enough to hold my iPhone 8 without any issues; the first time I wore them, I ran an 8-miler and my phone stayed in place without any rise or fear of falling out. The liner is a little snug in some spots, but it didn't bother me while I was running. I highly recommend these shorts, and the price for two pairs is fantastic.
The compression shorts lining should have hard seams in the front and back of the crotch on the inside of the shorts, according to some genius. It only takes a few steps to realize how inconvenient that can be over a few miles or during a workout. The shorts are also a little low on the ass in the back, but not in the front. I'm not sure if they weren't cut to the pattern precisely or if they weren't stitched properly. There are several crooked seams, and the factory does not appear to have adequate quality control. br>That was the last time I bought shorts because they were on sale.
Two pockets are on the outside of the shorts, and one is on the inside of the tighter shorts. The inside pocket is ideal for keeping my phone safe (it doesn't have a zipper, but it's secure). I'm not sure if the pocket would be big enough for larger phones. Aside from that, the shorts are decent: They're comfortable, have a nice length, are light, and keep everything in place. When I'm out and about, I only wish there was a second secure pocket where I could keep my keys. Instead, I use the drawstring to keep them from falling out of the outer pockets.
The outer material is similar to that of a hospital gown, while the "inner shorts" are very thin and are not compression shorts at all. They have a phone pocket, but it is too shallow for an iPhone X, causing it to fall out while running. These are fine for the gym, but I wouldn't wear them while running.
These are perfect - I'm 5'10" and weigh 170/175 pounds, so I opted for a medium. They're soft, stay put, and have a useful liner pocket. These are less expensive than a similar brand (pinkbomb), but they lack two features. 1 - When out for a run, there's a small zipper pocket that's ideal for stashing a house or car key. 2 - a pre- drilled a hole through the phone for a headphones cable to pass through. This isn't a big deal anymore because most of us have Bluetooth headphones. br>br>Anyway, I'd give these shorts five stars if they had a small zipper pocket. However, this is a fantastic choice.
