Yes, if you mean silky in the sense of spandex. These are a big hit with my seven and ten-year-old boys.
Yes, most likely- These are snug and light, so they'd be great as a layering piece.
I don't believe so; it lacks a "pocket" in which to store one.

Before the last ones wore out, my son outgrew them. Some of the stitching is coming undone, but it isn't fraying. In my opinion, the inseam is shorter than shown in the picture, but we don't mind. I am a repeat customer because of the high quality of the product.
So far, the quality has been good, and the material is nice. My 8-year-old son is quite frail. I purchased his exact size, and they are very comfortable. If I were buying for someone who was more average in size, I would size up.
These were purchased for my four-year-old grandson, who has special needs and is unable to potty train at this time. These underwear fits snugly over his diapers, and they, along with the special onesies I purchased for him (which are extremely expensive), prevent him from putting his hands in his diaper once he is fully dressed. It's taken a lot of trial and error, but I've finally figured out what works.
These were purchased as a gift for my 15-year-old daughter. year- They irritate my 12-year-old son. The legs are short, and they ride up his backside. I'm not sure if the legs are too big/wide for him because he's so thin, but he won't wear them.
When my 15-year-old son began wrestling, I purchased these for him. Under the singlet, his regular boxers were extremely uncomfortable. Although he refuses to wear a cup, he claims that these undies keep everything in place. Because they're more comfortable than regular boxer briefs, he now wears them all the time. When his teammates complain about "downstairs discomfort" while wrestling, he tells them to order these.
My son loves them and the material, which is similar to spandex and is silky smooth. They are a little tight but not too bad. I would strongly suggest it.
He did say, however, that they are soft and that the fabric isn't heavy, which he likes.
Comfortable and suitable for a variety of sports. When backpacking or snowboarding, cotton is not recommended because it retains water and makes a child cold.
