Does not have the "polyester-free" label This method is referred to as "blended baking". There was a cloth material backing on the original belt. The treadmill works as it should, and I can now walk on it again. I notice that after almost a year of using, I'm no longer getting white lint build-up when I use the dryer This belt has a polyester backing, maybe that was why I messed it up with the original belt. Now that I see this belt does not have that, I'm glad.
