My treadmill is a Gold's Gym 420, what walking belt should I use on it?

GGTL396131 is the model number of the machine. You need the model number for your treadmill to be able to accurately search for your part. Some models with the same name have different parts. There may be many different model numbers. There is a metal plate or sticker on the treadmill frame near the power cord, or on the motor cover, or inside the motor cover, where you can find the model number.

What do you think about golds gym 600 crosstrainer?

On my 420 model it works just fine. I'm not sure if it will work on a 600

Could you tell me how big this belt is?

Although I'm not sure exactly, it looks like it is the same size as a full size treadmill at Gold's Gym.

There was a feeling of fuzzy (short cloth fibers) in the center area instead of smooth at the outer two inches

A little background It had been two years since we bought our treadmill, and just a few months ago we started smelling an unusual burnt smell. It would start to smell of plastic after 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill, after taking off the cover and touching the motor (could not hold my hand on it for very long), and how the RED motor wire connector on the board looked (discolored). Our belt had reached the end of its lifespan, so we lubricated it. Rather than feeling smooth, it felt fuzzy (short cloth fibers) in the center area instead of at the With the replacement belt in place, the motor no longer gets hot even after 30 minutes of use.
