Questions & Answers

There must be a trick to this applicator, right? Whenever I try to squeeze the bottle hard, there is no lubricant coming out. How can this be?

It's important to remove the red cap in order to break the shutoff seal, so pull the cap up/away from the bottle to do that. Upon hearing a small "pop", you will be able to tell it's there. The cap and tube assembly then enables the lubricant to flow. Putting it back down for storage is the best way to keep it safe.

What if I want to use this on an elliptical machine?

A treadmill would also be a very sparing use of it. The mistake I made was to overestimate It got stuck to the band that connects the motor to the tread when I was using it. As a result, the treadmill failed to function properly due to slippage. It seemed to me that the motor had been

This can be used on true treadmills, right?

It is perfectly fine to use 100% silicone lubricant if your owners manual specifies that. However, if it tells you to use something else, you should double

A thin, oil that is similar in thickness to motor oil or baby oil would be ideal. What are the effects of this ?

Despite the fact that I have only used the product once, I am quite pleased with it. However, I had a repairman look at my treadmill recently and he said this product does what it is supposed to do. It is also very sparing if you use it carefully. You might need to go at least once or twice every few months even if you don't exercise regularly on the treadmill. Only about 30 minutes a day are spent on my 'mill and I have had it for about 12 months now. This product has only been used one time, and so far it seems to do its task. The oil is thicker than motor oil, and it feels more like baby

An American made product that works similar to others The following are some tips for using the website
4/5

is a bit hard to identify a difference between several highly similar items, but it was nice for me to be able to pick one made in the US. The reason I chose this one is because I am a bibliophile. I provide some tips for those who are looking to lubricate for the first time. (4) Take care not to get this stuff on other things. With the attached tube, it's really easy to splatter or leak lubricant all over the place. Due to the rough surface of the belt and the resistance of the lubricant to water, I got some on the top side of my treadmill belt and it doesn't really come off. It's just a bunch of dots that don't look appealing. (2) You might be surprised by how tight the belt really I discovered that I could barely lift the belt up one inch when they said to "lift the belt" to lubricate underneath. As I was inserting the tube into the blind, I was doing that. For some time, I practiced on some paper in order to know how the lubricant would come out. If you tighten it, that will cause your belt to slip, and I didn't want to screw up my belt. (2) Try to straighten out the tube as much as you can before you apply any lubricant to The straighter the tube, the better, since you will have to insert it under your belt. Although I doubt you will be able to get it exactly straight, get close as you can. It is very important not to separate the red top from it. The picture would have been better if the box were bigger, straighter. A few updates It was suggested above by COOL MAX to straighten out the middle of the tube by passing it through a metal straw. I love this concept! Having a look at the comments below and the photos will help. (2) If you have to clean up afterwards, have a few rags available, one slightly damp. If you are done, you will need one to wipe the side of the belt. You never know how useful some of them may be. It would be a good idea to have one ready so that you can place the bottle on it and anything that drips from the tube will fall on it. I wish I knew those things before I did this. *do not use paper towels unless you like lint sticking to your belt*do not use plastic bags. *do not use plastic bags. You will hopefully avoid some of my mistakes if you follow that advice. **SIZE **SIZE The photos I have included give you a good feel for the product in question. I make it my business to know what size many of the products I buy are, so I often include that information in any relevant product reviews I write. So there's no funny business going on. The bottle does fill the box to the top. I anticipated it to be larger, but it turned out to be smaller than I would have expected. You will receive four different treatments in one bottle if you follow the directions. As a result of how hard I worked during my learning process, I will get three points.

I was able to revive my old belt with this, but it seems the bottle does not hold a full four ounces
4/5

A treadmill that was beginning to overheat and stop in the middle of a workout had been given to me by ProForm. Even adjusting the belt didn't solve the problem. Since I could replace the belt myself, I did not want to go through the hassle and cost associated with a service call. I figured I had little to lose by trying I was able to get the treadmill working again after applying this remedy. There is very little mess with this lubricant. A reviewer had mentioned that inserting the tube into a straw would keep it stiff while wearing it under the belt. I would like the tube but it comes curled up and is difficult to get straight when inserted under the belt. It's a great idea, what a great idea! In order for the tube to fit inside the straw, it had to be thin. Although the bottle comes sealed and is supposed to contain 4 oz, the markings on the bottle only go to 3 oz, and the lubricant level was barely beyond the 3 oz line, indicating that almost 1/4 of the product has been missed.

Treadmills are a great match for these
5/5

Applicants only need to fill out one application. The last time I used this was on my treadmill. The product was very easy to apply, but be sure to straighten the clear plastic tube as much as possible, which could be accomplished by gently pulling it a few times over the edge of a table, counter top, or work bench with a 90 degree angled edge (not rounded). If you drop a product somewhere it shouldn't be, have a towel handy to quickly wipe it up. Within seconds of applying the product to my treadmill, I was able to tell the difference in glide. This treadmill has been in use for about a month since then, and so far it has not been problematic. It is applying the product under the full width of the belt thanks to the tube extension.

This difference is due to the applicator tube
5/5

The application of treadmill belt lubricant has always been an issue for me. The piece of paper usually ends up all over the place but not where it belonged. Applicator tubes are what make all the difference in this case. As long as you insert it into the treadmill and the belt as directed, the lubricator gets where it must be. Having just a few minutes to spare, I was able to resume my I received the product on time and it was exactly as described. This seller will be my go-to seller in the future.

Silica lubricant in a liquid form
3/5

Although it is a thin liquid, it is still too watery for my liking. It has a good discharge system which has a small tip and hose assembly that allows you to reach into the center of your treads, but the fluid is a bit watery. As more viscous material, it would offer better lubrication between belt and frame in the long run. My guess is that this layer of lubricant will squish out of the gap between the two surfaces fairly There was more of a gel or paste consistency in what was shipped with my treadmill. There is a similarity to water here.

This is a great product
4/5

I recommend this product, but keep in mind that it may need to be applied a few times (follow the directions on the bottle) and to walk on the treadmill on low while the belt is running to get an even distribution under the belt and to make any edges that are sticking up lay There are no further words to add. My only wish would be that it came in a bigger bottle, since it worked well on my belt. So the first application should be good for 20 days. If you repeat it twice, then it would be good for three to four months. You will be able to use it for 50 hours. approximately 40 ml of liquid will be covered by one bottle You will get 100 hours of use out of the device.
