Questions & Answers

I placed some under the belt on either side, and it spent the rest of the day under there, seeping right through the belt that made it Can you help?

My treadmill was coated in this product under the belt, in the middle, and in a zigzag pattern across the carpet. My belt was tightened and I started the treadmill to run for about 5 minutes I let it run for about 3 minutes total. Lubricating the belt requires a little more than half of a bottle of oil.

What is the average length of time each application takes?

It was suggested by Horizon to use 1/2 a bottle every six months. I was running on the treadmill every day for at least 30 minutes and sometimes two hours.

Does there seem any reason that I could not just use the silicon lubricant I have in the garage for the job?

There must be a 100% silicone component. There are a lot of silicon products that have ingredients in them that can do damage to your belt or other treadmill parts. I bet you will discover that the one in your garage may not be 100% silicone but may contain other materials. I remember theresa because I was with her.

Can you please tell me how to open the bottles in the safest and most effective way? As a result of the bottle, I tried a different brand and regretted Can you cut the pipes or wires?

Wire cutters / diagonal pliers or pruning shears (I prefer the anvil type, but any will work) are best for cutting bottle ends like this and caulking tubes. It's hard to cut with scissors. You should always use a safety knife when you are around knives.

It's a nightmare
3/5

I strongly advise you to avoid this product. In this case, it's IMPOSSIBLE to apply since the bottle is designed this way. Despite using most of the bottle, I still have some left. In short order, it would not allow me to start the treadmill. I was told to lubricate it. Unfortunately, this product is not up to par. It is even worse the HORRIBLE bottle and pathetic attempt to apply the liquid (which stupidly cannot be squeezed It is an exercise in futility to go through all of it. To use a better product, there has to be one. I would appreciate if you told me what. There is no point in wasting time and effort on this product.

It's a 0 out of 10! In a package that has already been opened are sealed bottles
3/5

I received the item in one day, but when I opened it I noticed that someone had taped together the item that was clearly opened before I received it. As I was looking at the bottles, I unscrewed the caps in an attempt to see what was inside. After they were put back and filled with a much less viscous liquid, the applicator tips looked as if they were melted closed once more. The bottle applicator tip on the bottle that came with the treadmill didn't look like that. Maybe it's silicone, but it could also just be diluted corn syrup for all I know. It appears that everyone is not getting the genuine Horizon brand silicone, but it may not be true to the website. If you buy silicone from somewhere else, you might end up lubricating the machine with sugar or whatever the hell you want to use instead. A look into the matter should be done by Amazon.

The product works, but it was damaged in transit
3/5

I was very pleased with the silicon itself. It arrived on time and within the expected timeframe, but the three bottles had broken out of their fragile packaging inside the mailing envelope and at least one had leaked. An envelope with a padded bottom was used to ship them. it's hard to know whether this was the result of poor packaging on the manufacturer's part or something that happened during shipping, but either way, it was quite disorganized. In order to get back onto the treadmill, I cleaned off one bottle and used it, and tossed the rest Because it's so expensive, I don't think the hassle and risk of returning it are worth it. Additionally, I wanted to get back on my treadmill as soon as possible. The product overall is decent, but I won't be ordering this anymore unless/until the packaging and shipping problems are fixed.

Quite easy to squeeze out of the bottle, but has a hard time staying in
5/5

I was having trouble getting the liquid out of the bottle, so I had to empty it into a little dish, scoop it into my hand, and then rinse it out We had to spread it under the belt, which was quite a messy process. In the end, my arm was covered in it. There were so many problems that I ended up purchasing a different brand. It seemed to maintain the belt just fine for the next 10 cycles. It used to be easy for us to hear a screeching noise with every step, but now it's much more annoying. Although I am not sure if it has anything to do with this or not.

I like the way this works
4/5

It seems to be working fine - (I recommend using a latex glove to reach inside/under the belt (once it's loosened). It doesn't seem to be necessary to use the applicators. In general, this lubricant appears to be a good choice- To me, it still seems a little costly (taking 1 star off merely for that reason).

It is impossible to dispense oil from a Be prepared to be frustrated bring a hacksaw and an electric drill
3/5

I think these are the most poorly designed bottles I've ever seen. There is no way for the oil to drip out of the bottle on its own since the hole is too small. However, the bottle is made of a very rigid plastic so it Since I had to remove the top and drill a larger hole in order to dispense the oil, I had to destroy the bottle in order to do it.

A lot of other people also do
4/5

As was the case with so many others, I was disappointed that such a simple idea had been overlooked. Making a squeeze bottle that you can squeeze This company has been able to escape. Despite the fact that this silicon product works well on my Sole treadmill, applying it is a more difficult process than it needs to be. My experience with the first bottle led me to pour the contents of the second bottle into a shampoo bottle that I obtained at the hotel before using, which.

My husband followed the YouTube directions to do so and it worked like a charm
4/5

Our husband and I spent the longest researching which to buy then just kind of randomly chose this for my treadmill that said it needed lubricating on its screen. Basically, we washed our hands of what it meant and bought based on our best guess. I used this and it worked great. My husband followed youtube instructions on how to prepare it and it worked great. As far as I can tell, we still have two bottles that should last at least the lifetime of the treadmill if not longer since it only takes one bottle and only needs to be topped up like every 300-400 miles. A 500-mile trip.
