In my case I just purchased it for use in a new M2 Explorer after my first Explorer came with a problem with the swash plate losing the elevator ball link. Fortunately, I was flying in my bedroom when the vehicle crashed, so I wasn't going to lose anything. This works perfectly. I do not see any performance improvement rather than a safer and cooler metal swash plate over a plastic one.
In my OMP M2, the DMXS seem to work best because you need to tune the frequency, so for that I prefer the DMXS. It is still a very good receiver.
A cheaper alternative, it is made out of plastic and costs more money than it should. This canopy is of adequate quality and is suitable for the climate.
It is good, but the user guide and the cable are missing.
