Some of the other motors had wires going into them that looked very sloppy, and some of the motor housings hadn't been painted. As I looked at the motor I bought, it looked like it was brand new. In the end, my plan is to use it for what it is intended for, a pump motor and an Evinrude outboard motor.

I saved a few hundred dollars and saved myself from taking a few hundred bucks

The tilt #397532 of an Evinrude is repaired by using this tool. I could have taken it to a shop and spent a few hundred more however, I took it to me. With new fluid, I found it easier to bleed by turning it upside down and filling it up from the bottom.
