have been a runner my entire life and as I have grown older I can no longer put down the same mileage as I was able to in the past. I have started using the Concept 2 at my work gym. It was during this process that I became more enthusiastic about rowing, and now row 3x a week while running only 2x Having decided to purchase a rower to use at home, I decided to get one. Comparing the Concept2 to the Waterrower was one of my considerations. In my eyes the water rower comes out on top. My 5K workout can be done at 0500 without waking my wife up and without blowing air in my living room like a Concept 2. It's smoother, super quiet, and I don't have to get my yoga done at dawn. Because of this, I need to keep it in my living room since I don't have a dedicated workout In fact, the Waterrower is much more compact and looks more like a piece of furniture when it is not in use. Having a Concept 2 is not a problem at all. The Concept2 rower is a great choice for hard core rowing and CrossFit competitors seeking quiet exercising in an area that doesn't get blown away by strong winds or noise. The Waterrower is also safe. If you like rowing, and want good exercise without the noise, and without every scrap of paper flying out of your apartment, give it a try. I always try to go just a little bit faster than usual. It feels both hard and smooth using the Waterrower. I enjoy using it more even doing the five-kilometer workout. With the Concept2 set to maximum resistance, and the Waterrower filled to the maximum water level, I use the highest level of resistance. The Concept2 takes me about one minute longer to finish the 5K than I do with the Concept1. A Concept2 is not wrong, it is completely acceptable. It may fit your needs depending on how you want to use it.

In the past, I have been unable to find an effective cardio workout due to two knee surgeries. It was boring to workout on a treadmill because my knees were sore. Moreover, I get cramps in my feet when I ride an exercise bike. We're saving the day with WaterRower! All the cardio AND resistance you could ask for! The first thing about this is that it is a lovely machine. We have it in our living room, believe it or not. Honestly, I'm amazed at how phenomenally well this rolls out and it's so easy to use! I am so happy with this purchase. With the boat so empty, I can enjoy watching TV shows while rowing, or just sit back and enjoy the gentle sounds of the water splashing. I can exercise during the work day if I want since my husband works from home. Our house is small, but the quiet means that we can exercise while he is working. Second of all, this piece of equipment is incredibly easy to use! I did not experience any jerking in the motion. It is effortless to move from rail to rail. You'll also notice that each stroke is smooth and consistent as you pull on the handles. The third advantage is that you get to do some great exercise! Beginners sweat so much that they feel SO GOOD after finishing, but what's worse is that they get up in no time flat. It's a fairly straightforward assembly process. I debated whether to pay for assembly, but decided to see if it would be worth it after reading other reviews. That's right, I completed it! Now, to be fair, it did take me a while to figure it out, and I did have some trouble aligning the footboard, but I persevered, and voilà, I had the headboard arranged! In the end, customer service is the icing on the cake! I had a broken arm on my monitor, and I was able to get a new one with no hassles. During a time when I needed a replacement, Becky from customer service sent a replacement quickly and answered my questions quickly. It's fantastic to work with you! Despite spending so much money on a piece of equipment, I am confident that I will not only use this equipment for years to come, but it will be a serious asset to me for years to.
