Questions & Answers

What was the difficulty level of the Did it pay off to pay a pro to install it or is it easy enough to set ?

The installation process is quite straightforward This article may seem helpful on its own, but I used it to help me with the steps in the video walkthrough These are the steps to follow Visit the website. The reviewsbylance website. Visit www.com/concept2- I believe most people will not need any help with setup, it shouldn't take you longer than 15 minutes I found the article I mentioned to be very helpful when deciding whether to get a mat for the Concept2 rower (the length makes it too long for some of the popular exercise mats), as before I put it together I wasn't sure if I wanted a mat under it. Actually, instead of paying a professional to do the installation, you can do it yourself, as it's not difficult like installing places in the installation that may be confusing if you're just trying to follow the instructions provided, but you can check out the walkthrough outlined in the article and you'll know if you can handle that on your own. Thank you for your help!

Do you think it would be large enough for person 6' 5? Do you have any idea what the advantages of model E are?

Having a 6'5" height (and a 36" inseam) makes this machine more suitable to me. (That's why I'm here to buy one) The Model D and Model E are the ones I use at my local YMCA. I can give you a more detailed answer if needed Based on Concept2 themselves, their default monorail is made to fit users with an inseam of 38" or less. Your inseam should be at least 38" in length. Concept2 offers an extended rail if your inseam is longer. A few things distinguish the Model D and E the height off the ground, and the adjustability of the arm on which the Performance Monitor (computer) is mounted. As far as the rail is concerned, they are

Do you have to fold it up in a certain amount of time? It appears that they were able to install a second window on the far wall, based on the product photos above?

It's possible that 30 seconds will pass. When you do it, it is very simple to conceptualize, but to describe it would be impossible. To separate it, pull up the foot strap, then pull up the middle part.

Selected User Reviews For Concept2 Model D Indoor Rowing Machine with PM5 Performance Monitor

This rower is a quality rower, however it is designed for cardio
3/5

I doubt anyone will read this because there are 2000 other reviews on the site, but I felt obligated to write it because I usually trust products with tons of positive feedback. I screwed up with this one. Firstly, a couple of things. The product is a great product. It's quality built, it's smooth, bla bla bla. Read all the other reviews and you'll see what I mean. This is 1. My height is 6ft, and I'm a fat guy with a thin build. It would be great to have resistance while I row in order to build muscles. This is not the right machine for the job. When the damper is set at maximum, there is not a lot of resistance unless you are going as fast as you can. There is very little back exercises on this machine at all. It is mainly a cardio machine, though it might work a few muscles in the back. . * *2. Compared to the stock screen, it looks like it's from the 1980s. This screen appears to be simple, but it is actually very complex, plus it is so low budget that there isn't much you can do It sounds like a ruse to trick you into signing up for their rowing program, right? 1. 2. 3. Carpet doesn't work well with the wheels for moving it around. Item 4. A loud noise is being made. Even if you want to crank the volume all the way up, you'd need headphones while rowing unless you want to watch TV. The volume must have been high enough to merit a The star rating is 1. Symbols for br>5. My major complaint is the price. Many of these faults would be acceptable if they weren't priced so high. The concept of "you get what you pay for" is important to me, but I think that this should be about $500-$800 Streamline your rowing with this $650 I don't think it's worth more than $900. Overall, I feel this is a good product. The cardio machine you need must be able to handle 30 lbs. You can use this program to work the back and a few other muscles in 60 minutes! If you are looking to build muscle or increase your resistance, then you may want to pass on this exercise.

I was easily able to decide on the Concept 2 Model D
5/5

It took two days for the device to arrive after we bought it on Amazon. Among other reasons, we thought long and hard before investing in a rowing machine, partly because of the financial commitment and partly since we live in a small apartment and really can't utilize After a lot of thought, we decided that the health benefits of daily, low impact exercise were more important than the impact on our décor.

We decided to go with the Concept 2 Model D. Tempted by the fancy wooden water rowers (small footprint, easier to store, more homely appearance), I decided to get one. I've noticed in my local gym that the Concept 2 has a fan chamber, and it keeps the air blowing from the fan chamber cool while you sweat. I didn't like rowing in dead air.

Other factors were that we had learned about this machine's good quality. It will last much longer than In this machine, you can expect to feel as comfortable as The first question my Mom asked was, "Won't the neighbors hear us?" Since we live in an apartment, my mom asked "Won't the neighbors hear us?" As a result, we achieve our goal. I don't hear anything rumbling coming from this machine. I like how smooth and quiet it is. As the fan is the only source of noise, the seat glides in near silence and the chain-driven motor does not make a sound. There is almost no sound from the pully thing. In the floor, there is no sound transmission. Additionally, I am able to hear everything on the TV when the volume is just slightly over the typical level. There is nothing better than having this machine in the house. 15 minutes and 30 seconds is total time for a 15 minute workout in the morning. The gym bag does not have to be packed, you do not have to go to the gym many times, and you will not have to worry about forgetting All you have to do is hop on, row, and relax, then go about your normal daily Besides being smooth, did I also mention that this machine is powerful? The choice we made is not one we regret.

When you're facing an under-funded situation, your only option is to It costs $1,000 to row
4/5

For me, as a former fitness instructor looking to get back into shape, a rower/ergometer was the only all-purpose piece of equipment My one consideration for an exercise machine is the elliptical machine. There are almost no parts of the body that rowers do not work. The rower is easy on the joints and is a great way to get in a lot of exercise in a short amount of time.

Trust me, you will not be disappointed with it. I looked at a number of brands and was put off by the negative reviews that inevitably found a deal I couldn't pass up Throughout all rowers I examined, I found a breaker. Time and again, one rower was mentioned as recommended, yet he never took part in the study Concept 2 Model D is in urgent need of repair. In just 15 minutes after receiving the unit (which arrived in perfect shape and in just two days from Amazon), my son and I were able to move it downstairs, take it out of the box, and set it up. A design to be admired. I think this is one of the easiest pieces of exercise equipment I have ever assembled. There is one thing that immediately comes to mind about the Concept 2 Model D - the way it came together Looked and felt like it was made of quality materials. This device is the best in its class in every aspect. Compared to her, other rowers are nothing like her. As a prototype that is air-conditioned, the Concept 2 Model D is comparable to a Tesla among Yugos A rowing machine that uses resistance. Quality is evident from the manuals to the box it came in. The money you spend is worth it, and that is satisfying in the modern The following pros are available + Cardiovascular and whole-body fitness Get your body in shape by working out. In addition, assembly is a breeze, and tools are included for assembly. The design is excellent, both in the way it's set up and in the way it's used.
+ It is sturdy. This rower can handle up to 500 pounds of weight, when most rowers can only handle 250 to 300 pounds. The rail is long, which makes it great for users who are very tall. The rowing action is smooth, with a durable chain, and the chains are durable A mechanism that is driven. I've included 10 levels of air resistance, which is like 10 different difficulty settings in one package. The display has large numbers, is easily read, and the numbers can be adjusted. The machine has multiple built-in workouts, games, and ways to maximize your exercise time. Secure footrests are also included. Plus, a USB flash drive can be used to store workouts. Plus, a heart rate monitor (not included) can connect The light weight, easily moved and wheeled front end allows it to be moved easily by one person. + Includes a two-week trial Warranty of one year and 30-day money back guarantee A money-back guarantee is in effect for the first seven days. I believe the price is worth it, and I am certain you will be satisfied by the outcome. Mixing displays may look, feel, and function a little like the 1990s, but it's still not bad. The cons are It's the lack of comfort of the seat that prevents some people from gaining a star. I see where you are coming from. It is the Achilles heel of the unit for me. The seat is terrible for me. I find that although I have a cut on my tailbone it still aggravates it To account for this, we have changed the section. In addition to me, my wife and daughter both use the rower and have no complaints about the seat or anything else about it. I am 6' 4" tall and 240 lbs and I just don't feel that the seat is adequate for someone with my height and weight. As it turns out, I don't have a very big keister for a man my size, so I can sit comfortably in the seat, which is very large. Unfortunately, I do not understand why this situation is problematic. The seat on the unit is extremely uncomfortable, and I believe it is a sign of how well everything else works. I don't know. It has been my understanding that gel seat covers exist for the Concept 2 Model D rower, and I am considering purchasing It would be impossible for me to criticize Concept 2 Model if it was not for this issue. It may not be a big deal, then. There is no deal breaker, but it makes an otherwise perfect product a little disappointing.

OPINION Buy a Model D from Concept 2, and don't waste your money on any other model. It costs $1,000 to row. There is a great deal of difference and it is Currently, only the Model E is a direct competitor to the Model D. Although the Concept 2 Model E costs $200 more, it sits much higher (to make getting in and out of it easier for people who have mobility issues), has a more durable base, and features double-coils A powder-like substance Extra durability is achieved by coating metal surfaces with a protective layer. People are most likely to opt for the Model D, so it's the best-selling model. It is very important to use your exercise machine correctly when you enjoy it and it works perfectly, which is why it is the reason to use it more frequently. The Concept 2 Model D is indeed a joy to own, except for the seat. You just have to There will be no better you than the one it creates for you.
